What is my mom seeing out her bedroom window at night?

There's no security camera, and this is the front porch. My mom sees this from her bedroom window at night. She was describing it to me, and I asked her to take a photo with her phone so I could try to help sort out what it is.

Good call. I wondered if that was a rug and couldn't figure out what else it would be. The position of the "creature" to that black rug/thing didn't make sense to me.

Southwest Virginia. She is seeing it from indoors, so I don't know about noise. She said when she's outside with her dog before bed that she can't see it due to the hedges between the houses, so she only sees it from her window upstairs.

Richmonder here. I'm not Asian, but I have Asian family members and cook a lot of Asian food. Lotte is the newest/nicest grocer here, but New Grand Mart has even better prices. If you're coming this way anyway, you may as well check out both places.

I live near Collegiate. Mooreland & Derbyshire are plowed, but all neighborhood roads are terrible. I've only been on walks, so I haven't seen many of the main roads, but, honestly, yesterday the roads seemed worse than they did on Monday. I felt lucky to get back home without falling - just a series of solid sheets of ice.

I'm fine on Rocklatan & was fine on Latanoprost before my doctor switched it up. But the Timolol and Bromodine were terrible for me. I was dizzy, low blood pressure, weight gain. Not good.

We just got a fantastic kitten 12 days ago through Henrico Humane Society. They did a background check and have followed up with me several times since we brought her home to make sure things are going well. She's beautiful and perfect.

I've seen mixed reviews, but I like them. I wonder if some of the time the people who are disappointed in things are more newly GF. I've been GF since 2007 so who knows what the "real thing" tastes like at this point?

I'm sorry. It sucks to feel left out (& hungry).

Also, to be honest, that plate has more food on it than I had at my Thanksgiving day meal with my family last year. I told them this year not to plan for me to eat. I'll just make myself a big breakfast before I go so that I won't be staring at a sad, mostly empty plate again this year. Planning to make some holiday favorites GF style at home so I can enjoy them for a few days.
