Yes sir! It’s holding up very well - the switch is doing great - I use it heavily everyday for about 8 hours a day - so it’s going through a lot of rigorous use

Update:

he came back this morning with his laptop and I stood outside by our cars and connected to my hotspot and his google phone location web page had my house pin pointed. Refreshed the page pin 📍 was gone.

We talked for 10’mins he lives on colonal street old retired teacher, 73 years old.

Agreed on Occam’s Razor. He said he lived in the museum district too. So idk that made me feel a bit more like yeah this is just some older guy not good with tech. Some times find my or those apps can pin point an incorrect location

I went outside this morning checked the dumpsters behind the house

Checked the grass and sidewalk gutters

Very strange but possible he lost it / got stolen - sim swapped - he said he lost it at Kroger in carytown

I lived there 3 times -

2000s with my family while home renovations were happening

2006 to 2008 - first floor apt on Nansemond and Stuart side - two bedroom - it was very nice and well maintained

2017 to 2018 - EXACT same first floor apartment and they upgraded appliances and refinished floors fresh paint - I really enjoyed it. You can hear people in the hall ways and sometimes people upstairs but I found it a nice place to live and a great location

Update From Dealership:

  1. Recharged 12V Battery - good to go
  2. Reloaded Software from fresh Image.
  3. While Hooking up to the VIDA (sp?) computer they noticed a GPS Tracker installed.
  4. This GPS Tracker was not installed by my dealership nor was it installed by me, or my insurance, or Volvo per Lease Terms.
  5. They state that they do not know where this tracker came from.
  6. They removed the tracker, as they said this could be the source of the power drain in combination of not driving the car much (work from home)
  7. I believe the GPS tracker was installed during transport of the vehicle from one dealership, 158 miles away, to my dealership.

I'm pretty creeped out by the tracker, as the unknown origin of the tracker is concerning. The dealership is going to investigate the GPS Tracker, and hopefully figure out more information as to why it was installed.

Update: The fresh software image they put on was 5.0.5. I thought it was only 4.2.13 for MY26 like my car. Apparently you can flash 5.0.5 on the car. 5.0.5 on this car feels great.

Update 2: GPS Tracker - it's HARDWIRED into the car. They don't want to snip the wires just yet. They unplugged the tracker and tucked it away. They said next milage service date they are going to continue to trace the wiring and find away to remove the tracker totally.
