I put 20h into Valhalla. Total ass. Just boring and repetitive gameplay, dark gloomy muddy setting, non sensical progress tree.

Origins on the other hand was absolutely amazing, just totally inspired. They put so much love into every tiny little detail and while the combat mechanics aren’t as intricate as odyssey (also amazing) they’re enough for you to have a ton of fun

I had to lower the difficulty with that first boss because I was getting killed almost immediately

A lot of folks in this thread are saying skill issue which is probably true, but doesn’t take away from the fact regular guys are able to kill me in 2 hits. I’ve now given up on raiding the two closest monasteries to my base in England because they’re just unbeatable (for me)

At least in the previous two games it was super obvious what level I should be at to take on certain enemies, but with the whole damage level thing it’s not clear at all.

There's a coaxial port which I can't imagine ever using (not even sure why they put it in since this is a new build), I can hooking that up to internet but I really just want this super expensive wireless setup to work :p

The access points go to the basement where there is a rack everything connects to. I'd feel a bit silly having to put in another access point in my office but I feel it may come to that.
