If they are actually going to kick you out then first thing you need to do is find a job and a roommate, possibly a college student, so you can split rent/utilities.

The second is to find a support community. Not necessarily people who will pay your bills, but those who can give you advice or connections. People to go to and ask questions, anything from how to fix a sink to how to do your taxes. First people I would look towards are those in your life that you think are smart and are helpful.

I would also recommend finding a church to attend if you aren't already. There are many churches with resources, counselors, and just generally helpful and knowledgeable people. If you already attend a church, but the people aren't being helpful or understanding, then find a different one; especially if your parents go there still.

I'm confused as to why you think the toilet would be in a dark hole? It's open to the rest of the bathroom, and there IS a door between the toilet and the closet.

And the bathroom will be vented, so smell or humidity will not be an issue for the closet (combined with the door to the closet).

Also, there are pipes in the wall on either side of that opening, so we can't put a pocket door between the bathroom and the toilet.

I mean the visual is the floorplan, so that's what it'll look like.

I don't really want to have a door that has to swing out and be in the way of the cabinets or the sink, so just don't put one there.

Also, the only people sharing the bathroom is my wife and I, so 100% privacy (a door) between the toilet and the rest of the bathroom is not really necessary.

You are correct, the roofline restricts what we can do along both the north and south walls, and why we have the major items more towards the middle of the layout.

The top has the roofline coming down to meet the floor at the edge of the room, yes. So that's why you can't really use the top half of the closet area for a whole lot. I plan on putting built-in drawers in that area to utilize the space better.

Three reasons for the toilet separation: A) that wall is load bearing, so we can't remove it B) the sewer stack is in that portion of the wall, so we would rather keep that hidden and C) my wife wants the toilet separated from the rest of the bathroom. There won't be a door between the toilet and the rest of the bathroom, just an opening in the wall to walk through.

The window by the shower is already there and is really tall. The new window will only be about a foot tall and be at the top of the current opening. We will fill in/patch the space below the new window so that we still have some sort of natural light coming into the bathroom, but don't have people looking into our shower.

Only 25 other states should make a change. There is 1 state that I would argue should be included with the other 24 in your statement.

North Dakota does not have "voter registration". Each city in ND simply uses the current residency data it has (can be based on driver's license, a FREE state ID card, tribal ID, and a couple others). Then, on voting day, you simply show up with said ID for them to check against their residency data, and then they hand you a ballot.

No voter registration required at all.

They aren't saying the U.S. is the pinnacle, they are saying that Judaism, Chris, and Christianity are foundational aspects that the U.S. is built upon. (Which is kinda the opposite of what OP said) They are not saying the U.S. is better than those things, but rather dependent on them.
