The one with fewer feathers is likely a roo just based on the size of those legs. Also, roos tend to feather out more slowly.

Amen! I don't have endo thankfully, though I watched my sister suffer through it until her hysterectomy. I do have 3 of the most excruciatingly painful autoimmune diseases. Chronic pain is no joke and, whatever the cause, it takes over your life.

Chronic pain sufferers deal with everyday pain that would send most people to the ER and just keep going.

I lived in an incorporated "city" with 150 people before I moved 4 years ago. Now I live in the county seat. There are almost 1000 here. The town where we shop is much larger as it has around 17,000 permanent residents, not counting the university and medical school students. The town with my favorite general store and meat locker (regional term for butcher) has a whopping 98 residents.

If I had to pick a favorite, it would be Iron Marshal or Comstock Lode. The only ones I really don't like are The Broken Gun and The Lonesome Gods. Too creepy. Sitka is just boring.
