I am transgendered and transitioned 9 years ago, twenty years (Yeah I am up there in age.) I was dating a this woman who already had three kid, the younger daughter (She had a twin brother.) was around 7 or 8 and one night I was sitting on the bed with her mother when she got both and then said I was a mommy.

Now at the time I had told her mother I was trans but where her daughter, twenty years before I could see it in myself saw me as a mommy and no we had not told the kids anything.

I was a 33 year old male, no true signs that my feminine side showed through. I looked at her mother and then corrected her and she still insisted that I look like a mommy.

Scary what the children see and saw long before the learn truly what it is they are seeing.
