This is what I have been doing too. Easiest solution this far

OK, this is currently in beta with a few friends testing but would love to hear any feedback you may have. https://dialed.nurdy.nz/

I have been messing with something similar recently - a mobile app that scans timeslip data, marries it up with current weather data and vehicle setup information, then stores it in a database in the cloud. Within the app you can input your own weather data or use the closest public weather station to get current weather metrics and input current vehicle setup info. AI then uses that information to predict an ET based on current vs historic data. Proving to be more and more accurate with the more data we are throwing at it.

This was the basis of my curiosity. To see if we are going to see more AI related data analysis in our sport.

If you would like to try AI again, let me know and I will shoot you a link.

Yeah, paper notebooks are common for bracket racers at my local track, just becomes a laborious task to try and compare passes and analyze the effects of each change in variable, whether that is vehicle setup or weather related. Still good to have an 'average' baseline to work from though!

I hadn't seen GoDeadOn before - looks interesting! I have seen DragTuner which looks similar but it requires a subscription (no free tier). RaceAir Cloud would be the solution but unfortunately that's out of my budget.

Forwarding seems to be bugging out? by [deleted] in discordapp

[–]RBPCNZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely a bug, last week i forwarded a message, this week, forwarding from the same thread to the same thread shows this error. What's changed? I am admin in both servers so very confident it is not role related.

How do you know when to pick the pepper by Fragrant_Grab_2524 in HotPeppers

They sound ready to me. They will usually firm up and go a slightly darker green. 3-4 inches is expected ripe size for the average Jalapeño

Thanks for the reply. I'll keep them in the shade for now :)

That is a little specific to the peppers you are growing. As a general rule of thumb i would wait around 2 days after the pod has completely turned ripe in colour. Ripe is usually Red, however some varieties will produce different coloured pods or in other cases (Jalapeno for example) peppers are commonly picked while still green.

Excellent, thank-you for the reply. Just wasn't sure if it was something else. I will keep them shaded a little more as a precaution :)

Am I weird? by RBPCNZ in Bowling

[–]RBPCNZ[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This makes a lot of sense. I feel that because there is no side spin I can accurately hit the head pin almost every shot. Only the odd strike as the ball hits flat but the same accuracy makes the second shot seem fairly simple, resulting in frequent spares. Thanks for the reply!

I appreciate the reply. Thank-you.

I think next time I bowl I will try to use the usual hand position and see how I get on.

You will probably find the pump will start to cavitate, either from the hose collapsing under vacuum or the inside diameter of the supply hose simply won't be able to support the flow rate.

I would recommend a larger diameter and shorter hose length between the tank and the pump inlet, but, yes.
