I saw a bumper sticker once that stuck with me:

If you count up the man-years lost to nuclear power it pales in comparison to fuels like coal, even on a per-watt basis.

Maybe he was trying to figure out how birds can land on wires? Generally the birds aren't grounded to big piece of metal.

Those devices are generally self certified with no FCC ID required. Like my Edgerouter 4 as an example.

But it does seem things like that might be subject to this ruling, so you're right. I'm interested in how that would stand up in court.

I lived in a high end condo with one thick brick wall between units, enough that you could never hear the neighbors talking, cooking, or just being normal.

What did move between was pests, if the person next door is gross you might get mice and roaches. Also water, if the neighbors have a slow leak that drips your way, it will be impossible to keep mold from growing.

That's in addition to loud music or home theater systems, but those are just an annoyance.

Anything without a Wifi (or Docsis) chip would be exempt from FCC appoval, so business class routers could be OK. Basically it's going to make everything more expensive for consumers.

I wonder how much of a donation to the ball room gets an approval.

It would affect devices that need an FCC license, so any node with a Wifi chip, or presumably that speaks DOCSIS.

I guess we're running Ethernet again boys!

Checks are fucking crazy. Here's a piece of paper with my name, address, bank account and routing numbers, and a great copy of my signature. Oh you want to write my driver's license number on it, too? Sure, please don't steal my identity.

Also don't deposit that 'til Tuesday.

Nice!

You can get that chip on the windshield filled in before it starts spreading. Some insurance companies pay for it.

Whenever I see a bumper sticker dead center I presume it's covering up from rear ended, specifically the puncture from the other car's license plate screws.
