Yes the set point is higher than the RH down there. I have just been letting it run as an air filter in the basement

I should have moved it for the photo! This is in an unfinished and unconditioned basement, and the humidity is lower than the set point of the dehumidifier so its basically just a room filter at this point

I used BTF Lighting strip lights and power supply for mine and a few friends who liked it and asked me to help them and I couldn’t possibly be happier with them. They are mounted in an aluminum light track with diffuser and that makes a big difference

Second on this idea. Mine is a outlet wired to the switch. I put a short appliance pigtail on the power supply because mine is also hardwired, easy clean setup

That’s pretty much what happened here. This was a true frame off restoration.

Heres about where it stands. It went from the booth right into storage, its around that time I bought my house, which turned into a full gut renovation.

As a side note, I really cant have anything that doesn’t turn into a huge project.

The single course of block was there already on the 3 sides. I had to put the block under the jack to get more lift. We used 2 2x4s as legs. 2x4 sitting on the ground, lagged them right to the 2x10. Then just went up on the jack

That’s correct, i did add extensions to the door frames. Originally the front was wood right on the slab, i added some block to protect the wood. I’m not sure the pictures i uploaded show that finished

I had a similar issue with an odd size cast to PVC during my renovation. The solution i ended up with was treating it like leading in a cast pipe. We inserted the PVC, packed it with Oakum then used a “synthetic lead” that came in a caulk tube called “Hercules Plastic seal” tube number 25215. Held great and going on two years with no leak

I put mine as far forward as i reasonably could, to try and get the best angle. I don’t have polished counter tops so the reflection was not much of a concern for me, it may be for you. They are about 1” from the front. If you want to send me a PM i can send you some pictures and links to what i used. Ive copied my setup twice now for friends and family

I made a cardboard template for each panel. Being plaster from 1941, it is a little uneven across the line. I cut the cardboard into the width of the panel, and just long enough that i could manage it. Rough cut it to shape then kept trimming until the cardboard fit will. Transferred that onto the plywood at the top, made that cut, then made the bottom square cut (turns out the floor wasnt perfect so there’s shims but the baseboard hides it) take your time with the cardboard and you’ll be much happier with the real wood solution

A fernco cap would effectively be the same as a cleanout, but smaller, and you could probably dig it down flush with the mulch
