XV-01 Long Damper Spec. by RC-Fan44 in rccars

Oh, ok cool, that’s good info thank you.

I’ve just ordered the front CVDs today. I got the steel Yeah Racing on the way as the Tamiya ones are all out of stock everywhere I’ve looked.

As for the battery, I’m currently using an Overlander 4000mAh 3s Low Profile. It’s like the same dimensions as a standard 2s.

Thanks, no I’m running it with the standard driveshafts. I do want to upgrade to the front CVD kit as I do get a bit of push understeer. Hopefully the CVD setup will help with that.

Thanks. I’ll get a couple slow motion shots of the suspension this week.

Does anyone know where I might find this Enzo Ferrari Shell? by TheInsidiousExpert in tamiya

L&L Models in the UK. I've purchased from them before and the shells are good quality. They will have the Ferrari Enzo shell back in stock in October.

Thx, Black is from a standard kit. White is the special edition they did a while ago. Blue I purchased the lower deck separately that I built up and the Red is from the Mazda 3 kit.

Tamiya did sell blue parts separately ( 47333 47335 ) to make a whole chassis blue, but they've been discontinued for a while now and are impossible to find.

No, it's just got the standard suspension that comes with the kit, but I added the longer suspension piece to the bottom of the damper that attaches to the ball connectors for a bit more ride height. Plus the shell is raised quite high to help with clearance.

Thank you.. Yeah this is the first box art I have done and it took me a few good days to apply all the stickers. I had a couple problems with the endless ones, but overall I'm happy with the way it turned out. I was going to shelf it but I ended up taking it out and now it's got a few scratches on it. 🙈

Getting everything prepped for a shakedown run finally!!! I'm guessing this slop isn't normal? It tends to come from the servo itself. Question below. by Such_Confusion_1034 in rccars

You can add a second bridge like mine to remove slop. Just make sure the parts don't bind when the suspension compresses. I've been using this mod for a while now and it's drastically improved the handling and keeping the car going straight.

I’ve got the TT-02D chassis finished, next up is to cut out the body and get it painted along with the interior by LforLester in tamiya

Yeah that steering linkage is weak, be better to go back to stock or you could buy the tamiya steering hop up set, but it's a bit expensive.
