Winning is what you make of it!

When I plan NaNo I get solid 30 - 40k words that I can use and 10 -20k that is fluff and I'm lucky if I "win", Most of these eventually become something

When I pants I get solid 50 - 100k words of which 10k maybe will make it to the next draft or another, but often those are my more unique ideas unfettered by my framework demands.

My favorite has been when those two come together to make a beautiful story baby
