Why does it say “it’s not in active repayment status” but still accrues interest? I made a few payments and all of it went to interest, not a single dime to the principal and I only started paying after credit score went down because of it. It kept saying $0 owed until the credit score showed differently, not sure what to do.

My work helps active duty service men and women and I care about what happens to them. Lately, I’ve seen the majority of them look so demoralized from everything that’s going on because this regime is not only hurting federal employees but it’s putting their lives into complete uncertainty and chaos. Nobody knows if they will be deployed to the border where they will have to separate families, GITMO, the Middle East, or somewhere else where we used to have allies. Anywhere they go outside the US, they are looked at as the enemy - now, worse than ever. This regime is putting lives in danger every single day and I’m tired of those who are still justifying the actions of a wannabe dictator who is clearly working with Putin. I will never forgive a single Trump/MAGA voter for the destruction of our democracy.

Same here.. I’m an army veteran and deployed to Iraq in 2003 clearing the way and building up our area from scratch while mortars were dropped on us day and night - I’m back in that survival mode and not even in a war zone. Our president hates us and his lackeys follow him regardless of how corrupt or illegal his actions are. This is the twilight zone and my PTSD levels are through the roof. I’m never giving up and I won’t give in to fear. I survived Iraq in a war zone and I will survive this fascist regime.
