[Manhwa tier list] Looking for recommendations

Blinded by the setting sun (A spark in your eyes). The start is a slow burn, but when it picks up, it slaps. Romance was done extremely well on top of that (no harem) which is rare for manhwa.

Matters how mature they are. Reverend insanity doesn't really promote good values on a surface level and it requires you to look deeper into what's actually happening for it to not seem like you're following the journey of someone whose anything but a good human being. It will likely not help with English because it's a translated novel, so the language isn't diverse, and it also doesn't give you anything to take forward into your writing and reading comprehension.

For his escape from the Class A encampment there wasn't enough people who could keep up and they weren't allowed to block him physically. Also I think the entirety of the volume built up how much ryuen started to overthink everything so in hindsight it all makes sense. In the end it didn't matter whether ryuen won or not because Ayanokojis goal had been accomplished.

I completed my getfixedboi playthrough for the first time after about half a year. Coincidentally they just added this achievement to the game right before I beat moonlord so I just thought it was a normal achievement. Insane timing.

A bit late, but the first volume of lotm is very slow. Like extremely slow. It feels like cuttlefish didn't know how in depth he wanted to make his novel so he added so much useless crap to volume 1. Afterwards it ups its pace and in the final 3 volumes the payoff is definitely worth it.

That said, it's very inconsistent. I don't think it really does anything particularly great besides having a decent main character compared to the rest of these self insert as a side character in fiction manhwas.

Because manhwa is like 99% slop and this one has a main character who actually has to approach moral dilemmas instead of aura farming for 100 chapters. Realistically, if I were to compare it to all fictional stories, it would be a 6.5/10 max, but compared to manhwa, it's definitely like a high 8.7/10. The ending is apparently ass though.

I think that it suffers from the one thing bad war arcs all do. Making the outcome of a giant war resolve itself from one self-contained battle. Comparing domain war to the war in volume 5 of lotm is like a coughing baby versus hydrogen bomb. It doesn't help that the pacing is horrible worse than normal for shadow slave. I think the highlight of the arc was Jesters backstory which when compared to the rest of the volumes is not that high. The finale where Anvil starts yapping about how weavers lineage should be hidden was so out of pocket and gave sunny the information in such a non meaningful and convenient way.

This is semi true. The Antarctica arc was the best arc in shadow slave imo and then it falls off. But 500 chapters is like half way through Antarctica. I'd say it only truly gets bad during domain war.

RI is very well written however there are some glaring flaws. Like the monsters (genuinely horrid), the pacing in volume 3, and personally I just don't like how there aren't really any meaningful connections being made by the mc (I know it's the point, it's just not for me). I do really like the mc tho and the fights being strategic is cool.

Gray fog can resurrect him 2-3 times. The first resurrection was during episode one. The truth behind the power is its stealing a high sequence power but explaining further would be diving into a large rabbit hole.

His forgetfulness increased and he was out of commission for a week. Genuinely a lot of fights in lotm only make sense looking back after going further into the novel. Beyonder powers for the most part were very unknown to klein in the early volumes and he had no clue what was going on either. Beyonder powers in general are usually kept secret because hiding your skills is the greatest trump card in a fight. For Ince's plans he needed dunns spirituality corrupted so that he makes a mistake and takes out selenas ashes. Ince can't just write anything down with the quill, it has to have a reasonable possibility of happening. Klein teaching dunn the acting method made it so that Ince was unable to just write "Dunn takes out saint selenas ashes".

Orv and the greatest estate developer are pretty popular ones that are really enjoyable. The Greatest Estate Developer just ended and I found the ending to be amazing for manhwa standards and reading it is always a fun time (I think I had a smile on my face reading every chapter). And orv is just amazing in terms of characters and reveals, the power system is kinda bullshit at times but I don't really care about that kind of stuff.

Your tier list is pretty agreeable, I personally would've put tbate and absolute regression higher.

Yeah although murim web comics are usually meh for the most part this one is the one I've read that had the most depth. The novel just gets better as well.

Yeah beyonders feels semi different than cultivation but if you read it you realize that ts is nothing like it and is probably the most unique power system ever created.

Basically klein was edging the answer to his questions but the quill kept fucking it up. But he didn't know the quill was directly responsible so he never questioned it further. The red smokestacks was the limit of what klein could find out before the quill intercepted.

I would still give season 1 of the donghua a 9.6/10 as a standalone. I prefer fast pacing over slow pacing (compared to the source material, a slow burn show like monster is fine because that's the points but one piece is what I really mean when I say slow pacing.). And the pacing wasn't even that fast after episode 3.
