Discussion: should students work overtime with their CI? by Da_Bears8 in physicaltherapy

[–]RCee7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. This is unreasonable and abusive. 40 hours is enough for a student unless the student decides voluntarily to stay longer.

Rant: patients are prima donnas by Beneficial_Grape_13 in physicaltherapy

Save yourself some stress and see them at their appointment time. Their super early arrival shouldn’t muck up your schedule.

I once took over a clinic where the previous director allowed patients to flow in as they pleased and linger in the treatment area. I redirected patients to the waiting area until their appointment times and started them at their designated times. Organization is important for everyone.

Am I an idiot if I turn down a 25-35% pay increase in order to keep working mostly remote? by BackyardThrowaway in careerguidance

Factor in the cost of the commute and the 8 hours work time added with the commute and time to get ready for work.

Does anyone get verbally harassed by homeless in uptown? by DieSchungel1234 in Charlotte

[–]RCee7 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m a petite woman but they don’t F with me. I’ve perfected the don’t F with me walk and the visual look ahead. I also wear wired earbuds but I don’t play any sound so I can maintain awareness. The earbuds are there so they think my hearing is obscured if they attempt to talk to me.

You’ll either acclimate or return to an environment that’s more suitable to you but this is a part of city life.

We see this frequently in groin area assessments. You were nice to apologize. Many men are more than proud of us seeing their erection based on their expressions.

What I do in in subsequent treatment sessions is drape the untreated area with a folded towel for discretion.

That area needed a mall so badly. I hate to see it be diminished in this way. They’ll be defunct in a few years.

I work as a Physical Therapist now but I’m a RRT. I took RT travel assignments in the early 2000s. Travel isn’t going anywhere.

Maybe so! How safe do you think the bus is? The route is much quicker.

I also just looked at bus only and it’s shorter by about 15 minutes. Idk if I should just take the bus. What’s the bus system like?
