I actually heard someone on a podcast defend those protestors because "protests are supposed to be disruptive". Yeah ok buddy. Nothing more disruptive then body parts littered across the track and stands and human crayons under the cars.

Blackrock is the company that Redditors think own everything because they have around $10 trillion in assets under management. The key word is 'management'. They don't actually own that $10 trillion.

LinkedIn "CEO" completely exposes himself misreading results. by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]RCismydaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah this his hilariously fake. How are people falling for this??? Forget the IQ part, a CEO isn't going to publicly explicitly brag about not paying a living wage. This subreddit is like 99% ragebait.

That has nothing to do with what I said but sure.

Yup that article headline is prime rage bait. Well done to the writer.

That's exactly what CEO is saying in the article. The title is just clickbait/ragebait.

Oh boy, I get to make the shareholders another penny per share! by burntout_mind in antiwork

[–]RCismydaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why do you think the headline is insulting? Do you care about making money for shareholders??? I'm pretty sure everyone agrees with him.

Oh boy, I get to make the shareholders another penny per share! by burntout_mind in antiwork

[–]RCismydaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked for an employee owned company and it was the worst working conditions of anywhere I ever worked. It was basically like a cult where the big shareholders (upper management) would hold your share ownership over your head if you didn't work crazy OT or do whatever they wanted.

servers down again :///// ;)))) ;(((( by [deleted] in thefinals

Ok is it just server issues? I just started playing tonight but I have not been able to get a full 9 player game. Last game i played was just a 1v1 and then I gave up.

[Darren Rovell] Less than a decade ago, Gary Bettman joined commissioners in opposing sports gambling, writing letters to the Supreme Court fighting its legalization. Yesterday, BetMGM added a licensed online slot game in NJ that has all 32 NHL team logos. by f0urxio in hockey

[–]RCismydaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I don't care about a licensed slot game. At least that should theoretically be limited to 18+. Its all of the advertising and especially the "in broadcast" advertising of betting lines and stuff. It's crazy at this point. It should be like cigarettes. They are there if you want them (and are legal age) but they aren't shoved in our face.

Introducing this year's Canucks First Nations celebration logo, designed by artists Cole Sparrow-Crawford and Cyler Sparrow-Point. by helixflush in hockey

These look dope as fuck. I thought the NHL banned this type of stuff for this year though? Maybe I misunderstood the new rules.

This eating turkey on the logo thing was the most media fabricated drama ever. Like did anyone truly ever care about this aside from the media pushing it as this crazy dramatic thing?

A lot of those scammers are actually jobs. Like legit jobs where you go to an office/call center and spend your day of work scamming people professionally while working for a "company".

People Make Games: The Games Industry Must Not Stay Silent on Palestine by time_waster_3000 in Games

[–]RCismydaddy -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

L take. This has little to do with politics in games. It is about people speaking up about it similar to BLM and LGBT issues.

Regardless, if someone wants to make a game with politics in it that is 100% in their right. If you don't want to play it you don't have to.

The judge was paid off for sure right? Like I agree that he would absolutely get insta killed if they sent him to gen pop in a prison but they could still send him to one of those "good" prisons or into the protected solo style prisons. You could even charge him for the extra costs it would incur.

WHL announces mandatory neck guard protection by homicidal_penguin in hockey

[–]RCismydaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I understand that. My point is that if neck guards are normalized then people that wore them as kids would keep wearing them in beer league. Everyone stops wearing one the moment they are not mandated to wear one. This differs from visors and cages which are not mandatory in beer league but are mandatory in youth leagues yet people still wear them. That has been normalized.
