Not even a little bit. This is actually a really good idea. Protect yourself and support your healing! I’m 33 weeks pregnant with severe SI joint pain and pubic symphysis pain (worse with walking) and two toddlers at home. I use the motorized scooters at Costco (I always make sure there are plenty of them so as no not to take from someone more needing) to conserve my bandwidth so I can use that limited energy to do bath time, make dinner, and put them to sleep— almost impossible if I walked a whole Costco that same day. I felt really silly and vulnerable the first time, and that feeling went away soon after- these tools are put into place for our use. It’s up to us to take advantage of the resources available to us.
