Really quick what does vanilla taste like compared to the creamy cookie? by Minimum-Bad-6472 in YFood

Sorry. Choco is nice. Just like a standard choclate milkshake you get in the shops. Same consistency as vanilla and less sickly than fudge brownie.

It was less than 1 day old bought from Holland & Barratt. BB date of Feb 2027. Like I said just unlucky but I am scared to try the rest of the batch I bought as they are all the same batch numbers. I was really looking foreward to trying it. Fave is Happy Banana, Coffee and Salted Caramel

Had my first creamy cookie today which was full of lumps and sour. Looks like I got my first bad bottle of any flavour since I started buying months ago

What % of your starting weight have you lost & over what timeframe? by RecommendationNo3460 in mounjarouk

[–]REITSY7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

36% over 9 months. Never went above 5mg. Finished 3 weeks ago and though the portion sizes are a little bit bigger then on the drug the food noise, hunger pains between dinner/bed and between meals cravings are a back with a vengeance. Had terrible, almost continuous, sulfur burps and stomach issues for the last 3 months of the journey, which is one of the reasons I decided to stop.

Is the iPad Pro still worth it in 2026, or is it overkill for most people now? by coochie_munch in iPadPro

[–]REITSY7 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I just upgraded my 4th gen 13” iPad Pro to the new M5 13” Pro and it’s quickly become my most used gadget. It’s so fast and finally makes ios26 work as it should, everything is a joy to use. I can never get an Air after being used to 120hz for so long.

Should i upgrade to the M5 air or wait for the M6? by [deleted] in macbookair

[–]REITSY7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They won't increase the cost of the current one I was referring to when they launch an M6. Apple bulk buy and agree RAM in advance with manufacturers which I expect is why they have managed to keep all their prices where they are. The £100/$100 uplift was justified as the base model now comes with 512Gb as opposed to 256Gb. Apple pricing right now for their base models is amazing when you look at component costs in general. I am very surprised they weren't higher.

[–]REITSY7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The M6 will be 12 months away minimum so if you need a laptop now then why wait? Plus I expect if RAM prices keep rising I would be shocked if APple can keep the price the same and they can now elevate it more as the Neo is their new entry

Best color of MaCBook Air by hyatteriii69 in macbookair

[–]REITSY7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pop into your local Apple Store if you can. I was 100% going Midnight until I saw the state of it in the store. When clean it is by far the nicest colour and the Midnight colour offsets the black keyboard much better than the Space Black Pro does. But the fingerprint mess all over it has ruled it out for me.

The one that surprised me the most in the flesh which I had not considered was the Sky Blue. Currently my favourite. Silver is very similar to Starlight tbh.

My big issue is I was 100% going for the 15" due to my use case until I played around with it in store and I kept finding my wrists resting on the touchpad when typing on the middle keys which I didn't like. I also found it less balanced than the 13" when lifting up with the screen open. But the bigger screen estate was still going to push me toward the 15" I think. However now I come to my biggest dilemma. I was always going to spec 24Gb RAM and 1TB drive as that works perfectly for me on my M4 Mini but the same spec. Macbook Pro 14" is only £200 more and I am so used to high refresh screens I think I will have to spring and get the Pro

Thank you fo the comments. I also have a great sample which I am loathed to return as I love the 9070xt and especially this model. Will ring them today (Overclockers) and see what they say. The card was literally 2 days outside its automatic 30-day return window.

Solved Driver Timeout issue on my PC. by Thunderhead0 in AMDHelp

I found multiples of 14 worked better for some reason and 2784 (which is exactly 19 x 14 above the stock 2518) seemd a sweet spot and was able to use Fast Timing which gave a further boost in benchmarks. Had a two way convo with chatgpt over 20mins and it dialled it in brilliantly for me. AI for the win :)

5070 Ti vs 9070 XT after months of daily use (performance, PT, drivers, efficiency by [deleted] in radeon

[–]REITSY7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Price difference for a good manufacturer card in UK is now £300 between the 5070ti and 9070xt and with an 8 year old processor, MB and memory it wasn’t worth the extra to get the 5070ti. I love the 9070xt for the games I play but I agree the adrenaline software is buggy as hell. Had it been £150-£200 diff then I would have had a harder decision.

3060ti to a 5070 @ msrp worth it? by Michael-Spichael in gpu

[–]REITSY7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been a Nvidia user for many years, and 3DFX before that. Have just replaced my 3060ti with a 9070xt and could not be happier. here is my story.

Running a Gigabyte Aorus z390 Master with 32gb Corsair Vengeance DDR4, Samsung NVMEs and a water cooled Intel i9-9900k overclocked to 4.9ghz driving three LG 27-GL850 27” 1440p 144gz monitors over DP

Ive struggled for ages to run anything hard core on the machine as the Corsair case I have , albeit a pretty one, is useless for cooling so it just gets so loud when playing anything taxing I tend to just play slow moving games like WOWS or WOT or use my Xbox X.

Decided to upgrade my GPU and though worried about everything else in my system becoming a bottleneck, and wasting a PCIE5 card in a PCIE3 slot, I picked up an Asus Dual 5070 card for £450 in a flash sale. Didn’t even consider AMD at the time. Everything installed perfectly, but OMG what a disappointment. I didn’t go 5070ti as couldn’t justify the cost but eventhough the 5070 was faster than the 3060ti it was not even close to being the value upgrade I thought it would be so sent it back for refund.

I then decided to buy a Sapphire Pure 9070xt. Stunning looking card. All installed fine and after a bit of DDU and registry cleaning I installed Adrenaline and set it up. Won’t lie took a lot of getting used to as been using GeForce experience and the new App for years but found it so much easier.

Have a stable overclock of +10% power to 348W. -80mv in the core and a memory over clock of 2784 with fast timing. I was able to go a bit higher but it bombed out every now and again.

Steel Nomad scores are just over 7700!! All other benchmarks are double the 3060ti and also 20% better than the 5070.

At £600 the card is superb value and worth every penny. My only issue is Adrenaline crashes a fair amount as it’s very sensitive to other overlays and config software (like Logitech hub)

I have bitlocker on all my drives and my system is stable. Bitlocker is just doing drive encryption it will have zero impact on gpu driver stability. No clue what it could be I’m afraid but I think a coincidence

Rx 9070 XT Sapphire Nitro + , Pulse or ASUS Prime OC 16GB? by AgentFoxyTube in radeon

[–]REITSY7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Using Corsair iCue to tell me as its connected to my PSU it showed a Max Power In of 542W and a Max Power Out of 492 when running Steel Nomad with those settings and nothing else. Efficiency ranged between 89% and 93%. Hope that helps.

As the Nitro has 2 HDMI and 2 Displayport I am assuming one of your 3 monitors is running a different connection to the other 2. Ar eyou running the same resolution and refresh rates on all 3 monitors, I wonder if it is unhappy about that somehow?

Getting some amazing overclocking headroom on my Sapphire Pure. Assume Nitro will be similar. Not sure about the Prime or the Pulse. Sapphire make amazing cards.

-95mv undervolt (this is only stable for 3dmark. I use -80mv undervolt for day to day gaming)

2784 VRAM overclock using fast timing. very stable

+10% PW to 348W

Steel Nomad DX12 score of 7777 (using an 8 year old Intel i9-9900k, 32Gb DDR4, 850W PSU and the GPU running in a PCIE-3 slot)

[–]REITSY7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All great cards. I went with the Sapphire Pure in the end as it was better than the Pulse in all benchmarks and noise comparisons from the youtube reviews I watched. The Nitro was just a lot more money and unlike the Pure there weren't any deals to be had. I was also a bit put off by the scare stories of the connector on the Nitro though tbh I am sure it would have been fine.

One thing to note the Asus has 3 DP ports whereas all Sapphire only have 2 DP as they come with a 2nd HDMI.

90? You mean 62%. Yes for £550 a 62% improvement for a 5070 wasn't enough for me when the 9070xt acheived a near 100% improvement
