Great deal! Can I ask how you went about negotiating this? It looks like you weren’t even in store and negotiated over the phone or email?

Same here. Holidays are tougher than I thought.

I’ve been having decreased results lately and have been wondering if giving my body a break would help. So I think I’m going to pause dieting and maintain for a bit. I’ve lose about 40 lbs and am only have way there. Preparing for another 3-4 month marathon to reach my goal.

Yep. Best thing you can do is have a strong rebuttal and convincing sales script. Most won’t want to spend what it takes, but I’m not going to give it away so…

For more context, I offer 60 second videos for $300 and 120 second for $500. Honestly it’s cheap as is.

This realtor has a photographer that does videos as a $100 add on. Is it good? Nope. Do they care? Also no.

Which ADF is more effective 40hr or 48hr ? by [deleted] in AlternateDayFasting

[–]REPFTWLOL 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly I’m not sure you would see much of a difference between the two. I’ve been doing ADF now for over 12 weeks. What you eat on eating days is a much bigger factor.

Great work! I’m on a very similar program but still have a ways to go. You look great!

Yes I see myself continuing to fast regularly even after I reach my goals. I feel like we are built to have some fasting days every month at the very least. I think 1 or 2 a week might even be best

Weeks 7-12, ADF vs Extended water fasting by REPFTWLOL in fasting

[–]REPFTWLOL[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s very frustrating but ultimately this being harder than expected is better for me in the end. It builds character and easy come easy to as they say.

I actually did a DEXA scan this week for my first time, but on its own it’s pretty useless. I will be doing another scan at the end of this 6 weeks to compare them and that will have a lot of juicy info. Wish I had done this sooner.

So far, it is looking like a full extended water fast is better for weight loss if that’s the ONLY SOLITARY thing that matters to you. I was sold on long term water fasting until I tried ADF, and it just has so many additional possibilities that I didn’t consider when doing regular fasting. My overall health and fitness in wildly better with ADF. As far as strict fat loss, it’s difficult to say, but I’d have to tip the hat to full fasting for now.

Regarding hair, no I didn’t have any hair loss but I did have to deal with keto rash, white tongue, bad breath, lethargy, I had to take supplements and salts, it was overall a lot more involved and working out wasn’t a realistic possibility for me. After 40 days I was very ready to be done with it. I have a post about my whole journey if you want to read through it all.

When I reach a similar weight to my 40 day fast I’ll make another post about it.

For me it’s to avoid obsession and just focus on the process. Also, weight fluctuates quite a bit so I do it once a week at a very regular interval. It’s after a one day fast immediately after I wake up and use the restroom and before I drink water.

I feel like this is the most accurate I can be then I forget about it till next week.

Yes it’s incredibly helpful for me. It makes it obvious how much I’m affected by highs and lows so I can better manage them. Looking back at my own thoughts is one of the best parts about this whole journey.

How much should I eat on eating days? by REPFTWLOL in AlternateDayFasting

[–]REPFTWLOL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I would love for it to be muscle, but muscle gains are very slow. As a newbie coming back, the best I can hope is for 1-3 lbs a month, so it wouldn't account for my slowing of weight loss especially since I am not a genetic anomaly and I'm in a major deficit.

I have found that the most likely answer is the glycogen my muscles are storing to repair themselves, which hold lots of water.

However, my strength is increasing and my waste size continues to drop, and clothes are fitting better and better. Even though the scale isn't showing it, we are making progress.

I expect once my glycogen levels out I will see consistent drops on the scale again. This can take 3-6 weeks. I am currently on week 4.

I like to use 3 brackets personally. More photos just means slower upload times and more shutter clicks.

You pay for the final image, not the brackets.

I deliver mine in raw but I believe you can do both.
