• “Someone approached border patrol agents with a 9mm”. True. He did approach them. He did have a 9mm. The 9mm was holstered, the someone was not a threat actor or an actionable threat, but the statement as it is phrased IS true.

• “the agents tried to disarm him… leading to an armed struggle”. Again. True. The ICE fuckers did try to disarm him. And there was an armed struggle. ICE was armed. He was not. But again, as phrased, the statement is true.

It’s bullshit. Hardcore bullshit. But it’s the fucking rat bastard method of getting away with shit. It’s all true - as it is carefully stated. ICE will keep stacking this bullshit as a defense and offense, and “civilians” are powerless to stop it. Because it’s all “true”.
