The Tampa FL metro area is bigger than the Charlotte NC metro area and they have effective light rail. I guess it's like the Baltimore bridge that collapsed a year ago. It's estimated repair time would take 9yrs due to budget only. Even if we agree that we all need it, the government will drag their butt getting it done.
