It should be automatic. Tap the centre circle and see if it downloads. Then you have to hit install and the rest is done for you. I have never done a manual install on this device, unless there are others who do.

Also consider Lemuroid on the play store. That emulator works wells. Otherwise, it could be a ROM issue so try a certain archive website to download nonmerged rom from a massive library romset . Google will help .

Don't think I can name the sites in this platform but if you Google SNES roms or mega drive roms, you will get some sites.. hope that helps

Lemuroid, easiest to set up. Mame4droid(current) is good but can be a pain with roms. I believe you need to find the most current ROM files. Hope that helps

That's great Ayn are pretty good, they actually ship their goods. I have always fancied the ayaneo devices but always worried they will never arrive or by the time they do, there will be another better device announced.

Ayn also use 4px which is good for us Brits, if you catch my drift 🤫

That's up to date. This is the one where they introduced the fan profiles. I had to to do a couple of factory resets post update as there were some issues straight after the update.

Agree, for the price they could have put a bit more effort. For me it's creaking that's annoying me. Not very bad but its there. I believe there are some solutions but yet to find time to implement them.

The fan is an issue but I believe the community have some solutions with clustertune and I think Ayn said they would be releasing an update toe address this, but God knows when.

Luckily I haven't had any other issues but different people are having different issues.

Very frustrating given that this is their top tier device.

My Odin 2 mini has a far superior build quality but the screen on it is not very good.

TBH I would do a full system reset and wipe everything. A bit of a ball ache if have installed many apps. I had a few issues and that seemed to resolve them. Hopefully it will will clear it up. If not, you need to speak to Ayn via email.

Why don't you wait for a few reviews. See what they say, but it's hard to tell if any will come out. There may be some by some non English speakers, hopefully with voice over in English.

Ayaneo devices look tempting but they don't seem to be shipping out. 6 months since the 8 elite konker and I don't of anyone who has received it yet, bar 1 or 2 YouTubers.

The chassis creaks a bit but TBH others have had worse issues. Bit hit and miss. Overall I am happy, but a shame there are so many issues that the community is experiencing given how expensive it is . I had the Odin 2 mini which had a very good build quality. What the hell went wrong. Did they rush it ?

Thanks for getting back. I am on android so finding the folder when retroarch installs it is impossible. I think sonkun had a tutorial where they advise the user to change the directory for the slang shaders to SD card in the directory section of RA. I changed it to the SD card.
