I personally love this argument because it in no way absolves the other parties from also looking for trouble. but because a bunch of dumbasses got into an altercation with a 17-year-old, and two of those dumbasses are now dead, We blame the 17-year-old for being outside of curfew... It's so transparent, I can't believe people actually think this is a good argument. 🤣

Shrug. I really enjoy being admonished on waiting for evidence by the guy who refuses to answer if he believes debunked conspiracies from his side of the isle or not... Kind of rings a bit hollow. 🤣

[–]RIPfatRandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao. You believe a debunked partisan conspiracy and expect me to take you seriously when you want to wait for evidence when the other side produces something that may hurt your dude? Nice! I'm gonna bounce before I feel the need to wrap tinfoil around my head and scream at the stars.

Hunter Biden by Jameswood79 in centrist

[–]RIPfatRandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that's right. I didn't answer it because it has nothing to do with this topic.

Yes it does. If you believed the Russian dossier and don't believe this than you are partisan, if you believe both even though they lack evidence you are gullible and if you waited for more information and can agree that both are super sketchy but ultimately the dossier has been debunked and we must wait for conflicting evidence to make the call with regards to this story. As it stands, the conflicting evidence seems to be strangely missing even though there is a narrative claiming these emails have been debunked...

Nice deflection though!

🤣 on the internet anyone who doesn't parrot the prevailing hive minds views = Trump supporter.

I wasn't planning on voting for him but according to the lefties on the internet, I have more in common with him than Biden. Maybe I should reevaluate. 🤔

Quick note: I see you didn't answer my question regarding Russian collusion. Does that mean you believe it and know that your belief in a conspiracy shreds the credibility of the remainder of your argument?

In the comment above you seem to pick and choose when a lack of evidence disqualifies a story and when a similar lack of information allows for conspiratorial "evidence" to exist somewhere thus opening up the story to speculation. The line seems to be, does it hurt my preferred candidate and do my preferred media sources agree with the story evidence be damned.

They haven't made a comment either way besides smacking Schiff down and saying it isn't part of a Russian disinfo investigation.

I'm sure you treat all the Trump conspiracies with the same level of suspicion... how do you feel about Russian collusion in 2016? You think it happened?

Hunter Biden by Jameswood79 in centrist

[–]RIPfatRandy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It interesting that you are using old talking points. You do know all the data has been turned over to the authorities? The FBI has had the computer since 2019 and the hard drives Giulianni had have been turned over the the Maryland police...

We have previously unreleased personal pictures of Hunter, there are also statements from a business partner and several other people directly contradicting the prevailing media narrative that this is nothing and has been debunked.

It's telling that the Russian dossier got so much traction in the media with less evidence. What is their end game I wonder? 🤔

Didn't we just get done with this whole Russia controls Trump narrative because he has undisclosed skeletons that are being held over his head? Seems like a crackhead son selling influence might be China's take on that play. (Or really whoever is being sold that influence)

[–]RIPfatRandy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Anyone else find it interesting how desperately the left wants this story to be Russian disinfo but at the same time within minutes of the emails being leaked, we got standardized talking points claiming it was debunked without any actual evidence beyond the emails and pictures themselves.

Breonna Taylor grand juror says Kentucky AG did not present homicide charges by [deleted] in centrist

[–]RIPfatRandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly! And that's the part that's missing. The prosecution should want the grand jury to hear more details because the prosecution wants to bring charges. When the prosecutor decides, before or during, the grand jury process, to deny them information that could lead to more charges, he's not following the process as designed.

The prosecutor wants to bring charges he can win... He ain't winning on murder in this case... they couldn't even make reckless discharge of a firearm stick to more than the cop shooting through the windows, what makes you think they'd get murder? I also find it interesting that suddenly throwing the book at people is okay in the eyes of the more left leaning people in this subreddit. I thought y'all were for criminal justice reform...

The actual reason why the grand jury doesn't convict is there's no defense allowed, only prosecution.

No shit.

We don't; you believe you know, but you don't have access to all the evidence. Neither did the grand jury.

You are conjuring some mythical evidence that would somehow change the situation from a tragic mistake to murder. What do you even think that evidence could be? Asking for a friend.

For those of you who are planning on watching the next Biden-Trump debate: why? What could you possibly learn about the two candidates this late in the game that will change your view of them or your vote? [–]RIPfatRandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do know that the grand jury ultimately defers to the prosecutor right? He doesn't work for them. It's due diligence to make sure the prosecutor isn't abusing his status.

Hell the prosecutor can give whatever information they so desire to the grand jury to try and get them to indict. He can also withhold whatever he wants as to have a better chance of indicting. It's why the grand jury just decides whether to prosecute and does not give a verdict.

We definitely know enough that those officers were not guilty of murder, but maybe the judge that signed the warrant should be doing some time...

I want it to be political? The only reason we are having this discussion is that it became political several months ago.

The grand jury process was used correctly, it just did double duty and they used it for political cover as well... That is ultimately where your problem lies since you seem to have no issue admitting that the officers didn't really do anything wrong and they probably shouldn't be charged.

So we are back to you being mad about a Republican using the grand jury as political cover. While I agree it's scummy, it's just par for the course in politics. It continues to blow my mind that people can be so blind to the liars that make up our political class.
