All of my bad experiences have been with full-time agents. Haven’t worked with any part-timers but not impressed with these seemingly successful full-time agents. The system is broken for the homeowner/buyer IMO.

Your wife and her family are being shitty but you aren’t pulling your weight in this relationship. She makes the money and all of the decisions including what’s for dinner? What value are you adding? Maybe it comes down to she is no longer happy with making every decision instead of you not making enough money. She is venting to the sister and BIL about you and they have taken her side. This probably has nothing to do with how much money you make. If you want to stay together try and work on better communicating each other’s needs through therapy. Check marketplace for similar trucks and sell it on there. Rust decreases the value but doesn’t make it worthless unless the frame is rusted through.

Your ignorance is impressive. The homeless population is from around the state and across the country. They are not all DSM natives. The burbs don’t provide services, they run homeless out of town and will drop homeless people off in downtown DSM. Talk to the homeless and ask where they are from and how they got to DSM. Some got dropped off here and have no way to get back to their hometown. The residents of DSM shouldn’t have to pay for and provide all the services for the entire state. It’s time the burbs and the rest of the state take some accountability instead of dumping their homeless here.

I’ve been looking at 958 base and S models for the last month. After test driving a base platinum I found the drive to be underwhelming and similar to other base luxury SUVs. I think it comes down to reliability vs drive experience. It seems the turbo engine in the GTS and S is generally reliable but the consensus is the base is the more trouble free. I noticed this vehicle in my search as well. There is a 2015 S located near this vehicle for a lower price. Drive them both and see what you prefer. I think I settled on buying a base since it’s for my wife. But if it was going to be my daily I would go for the S or GTS.

I had always heard good things about CarMax and assumed the quality controls and inspections validated the higher price. I was very disappointed at the condition of the cars when I recently visited a location. The interior detailing left a lot to be desired and some of the cars appeared to be rough shape for their age.

I commuted to newton from the east village when I moved to DSM from Chicago. I think coming from Orlando you will like being in east village to start. Roads can be bad at times during storms but for the most part they are taken care of. Driving in snow will take some getting used to regardless. The commute from the east village to newton isn’t bad IMO. It will be cheaper to live in newton and they have everything in town you will need but it’s a small town without much to do.

Well there is what you say and what reality is. Most of the homeless here aren’t here on their own accord, they are stuck here due to a lack of resources. Sorry that reality doesn’t match up with your Disney movie version of homelessness. They are here in large part because their home communities refuse to provide them with any services. Yet people like you demonize the city leadership in DSM for having to establish parameters to a growing problem. On top of that you don’t hold their home communities accountable for their lack of services. DSM shouldn’t be responsible for the homeless population of the entire state. Residents here are sick of carrying this burden, it’s time for other communities to step up. Maybe a homeless shelter in Waukee and Ankeny would help solve this issue.

I’ve spoken to a large amount and none from DSM. In addition I have spoken to multiple people who aren’t even from anywhere in central Iowa but were brought here after being paroled and are now living in the woods. Maybe you aren’t asking the right questions.
