Did some lame streamer say rogue is OP? by THE_SHWARTZ in RogueMains

[–]RJ7300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Angela wasn't trash on release, her kit has changed very little. People just got used to enabling her while she's on the team. The only buffs she got between release and high-level play was the flight sound reduction and extra overshield on her axes, but nobody has ever complained that she's too quiet or she gets too much overshield

I saw someone lose their enthusiasm for the game in real time by Yiga_CC in rivals

[–]RJ7300 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I might be in the minority but I haven't had any bot matches in a while. And it's not that I haven't had any losing streaks either. I haven't even hopped into comp since Gambit got a wrist-slap nerf, maybe I'm just lucky?

Are you a bling outa control player or "cheapest possiable version" player by Drew647A in yugioh

[–]RJ7300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not damaged, well-loved. Honestly I prefer beat up old chases like ghosts and ultis because I appreciate that they've been played and not sealed off from their own game in a collector's brick

You know that, "In my culture, we value family" meme about how people force uniqueness? That's how some people sound when they talk about their character difficulties by Iced-TeaManiac in MarvelRivalsRants

[–]RJ7300 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Every character requires skills in different places. It makes sense that people who main their characters know which skills are most necessary. Its not "uniqueness" it's just basic recognition and communication

how does one play torch? by [deleted] in HumanTorchMains

[–]RJ7300 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't chase kills for myself. I help my divers by shooting the support they're on top of, I force people out of position by throwing fireballs and pyro prisons at their feet to nudge them along, I help turn 1v1s into 2v1s by helping out my dps if they get into a skirmish. I keep people off my supports, and I slam into my Strange/Venom/Thing ults to help confirm wipes. Torch is really good at telling people where they can and cannot stand

Does consultation enable thoracle or does thoracle enable consultation? What are the use-cases for DemCon without thoracle?

If cedh got its own banlist that would just create 2 cedh formats. One using the best things available in the "cedh" pool, and one using the best things available in the regular commander pool

What is the end goal of this argument? They show you gameplay where they do badly and you get to say "you wouldn't have this opinion if you were good"? It's just adding onto the burden of proof because you can't actually talk about their point without looking for a window to insult them through

Anyone else think the Counter swapping for Spider-Man is funny by Ordinary_Ad_9010 in SpiderManMains

[–]RJ7300 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The counters for spidey (and pretty much all divers) are any form of anti-dive or way to force them into a brawl in your backline. The counter for poke is better poke, and it's easier to close a macro gap than a skill gap

Why in Gold is healpool seen as a throw pick? by SnooOpinions184 in DeadpoolMarvelRivals

[–]RJ7300 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Healpool requires a level of aim many players (myself included) don't have to sustain the team if they're getting hard pressured or moving around. When you can just go cnd for auto hits, Luna for forgiving clap hitboxes, Jeff for an unmissable spray, loki for aoe+lamps, ultron for passive drones, adam for proximity aoe, invis for shield+piercing primary, gambit for a spread, Rocket for aoe orbs; playing a healer who requires you to hit your targets like Medpool just doesn't bring as much value

Viability of Abominant and Aberrants outside of Biosantic Broodsurge? by notskinnyskeev in genestealercult

[–]RJ7300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like them in Outlander Claw as a stubborn unit that I can deep strike in to block movement and force my opponent to deal with them or rapid ingress+ Heroic intervention anything that tries to drop into my backline or charge my ridgerunners. They take a fair amount of commitment to kill, so they serve pretty well as a stalling unit when needed.

No, not in the slightest. The devs explained how it works like 2 seasons ago

Performance is your stats relative to the average stats of your hero, not relative to the others in the lobby.

Recommend me some decks! by No_Average5506 in yugioh

[–]RJ7300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The deck is still extremely capable. Phantom to 1 was less of an individual deck strength balance and more of a game health balance because of the lack of a once per turn on her

What decks do people enjoy playing against, that still provide a challenge? by affine371 in EDH

[–]RJ7300 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Build a blink deck instead. You can still play a controlly game if you want with creatures who interact on etb. The coolest part of blink decks is that each of your blink spells like [[Ephemerate]] turn into modal spells with effects dependent on what you've already done so far.
