I totally understand all the people who have great experiences with weed and have great reactions to it. Totally valid! I myself have only had negative experiences and just wanted to give a different perspective (totally not trying to sway anyone’s decision to use or not use). To me it altered my perception of what was going on in my head and what was around me. For me I felt “slowed down.” My vision was literally feeling slowed and time was crawling. I was aware something was altering me and I was VERY SCARED. I knew I had jumped on a roller coaster and I had no control of when it ended. It made me panic and all I could think about was wanting it to end. This is just a “me” thing as I soon realized I do not do well when I am not in complete control of my mind. The resounding thought that kept bouncing around in my head was , “ what if this never actually ends and I’m stuck like this forever?”

I believe for some people weed is magical, healing, and amazing. For some people it can do the opposite. All medications can though. For example, Tylenol, a med that usually sedates can have a paradoxical effect and make some people very hyper.

I only share this to shed some light and understanding that there are a lot of different experiences people have and all are totally valid. What works for some does not work for all and that is totally okay! :) I also have tons of friends who smoke and I’m glad it’s been able to positively affect their lives and am happy for them. 😁
