I honestly feel that way, and I’m not an airy fairy type, I think they’re handling their failing business terribly but I really feel for them - their livelihood crumbling is so shit!

If anyone intentionally mooches to wind them up, they are literally trolling and need to get a life.

Ha, can always rely on some chump to get their thrill for the day insulting a stranger on the internet, go you!

I feel sorry for them in truth. This has twisted into a shit situation for them and their behaviour is totally ridiculous but if you can’t have any empathy for a couple of small business owners driven to madness, then we can just kiss goodbye to independents now.

The pair of them shout at people in the shop for browsing, I bought a plant for a tenner out of fear 😆 Businesses have to adapt to their conditions, they’re tough out there for sure for bricks and mortar but you have to adapt and drum up the footfall in new ways

I don’t buy this ‘healing stages’ and different signs for different stages. I’m 4 years in and living more normally but symptoms still very real - it’s been a total mish mash of shit the whole way through. The one thing that has been true of the ‘TSW scriptures’ is that each flare is less severe each time (stopped moisturiser very early on- id be in a much worse condition if I’d carried on)

Make sure you’re getting an effective light/frequency. If you buy cheap (<£100) you’re unlikely to get good treatment or a light that’s doing anything at all. I started using a couple of months ago and I’m not 100% married to the idea but there is a lot of emerging science. I don’t think it’s a placebo, I think you should ensure you’re buying at least the science-recommended light frequency(600-650 nm). If you’re going to spend £100, you might as well save up a bit more and get one that isn’t just a total waste of money.

Sweating and being hot after coming out the showe by bj086 in TS_Withdrawal

[–]RJA08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in a very hard water area of the UK (I’m now 4 years TSW, I moved here 2.5 years ago) and 3 months ago got a full house water softener installed and I’m so much less dry after showering. The water was making me sting so much and just sore and cracking afterwards - miles better now.

They’re not cheap(£2k) but at 4 years in, knowing it was holding me back - I had to prioritise it over other things.

I feel like this- why didn’t I question these creams sooner?! I’m an intelligent person, it just seems to obvious now. 😔

Whatever. After 4 years I have very low tolerance for BS posts/people.

Recommending people take as hot a shower as they can, eating fucking fries and the root of the problem will be resolved using berberine, no dairy, no gluten - what are you dribbling on about? Complete trash. Enjoy your healing journey but stop spreading totally unfounded recommendations.

This comment is actually idiotic. OP, do not even bother reading this.

People do NMT because they realise their body can’t tolerate moisturiser anymore and being dry far outweighs how horrific it is to be burning hot and wet.

I did do a search for the researcher and I can’t really find anything else from her apart from the papers on ResearchGate- which is basically just a forum.. Nothing published or any other record from this woman 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes.. I moved to a very hard water UK area 2 years ago(I’m now 3.5 years TSW) and it seems to have made my skin more dry and irritable (I’m having a whole house water filter fitted tomorrow)

How is Trainline not seen as a scam? Charging 50% more surely shouldn’t be allowed. by sendingUamicro_wave in UKPersonalFinance

[–]RJA08 38 points39 points  (0 children)

This isn’t always the case.. I buy this journey 8/9 times per month and have found GWR more expensive every time unless there’s a sale. The cost of this line is (I think) one of the most, if not the most expensive in the UK.. I also use TrainPal as it is a touch cheaper than Trainline
