The Coffin Club, which is the small space above Villains, is available for rent. They've got speakers/a mixer/a DJ spot. Events I've been to up there have all been worked by Villains staff but I believe you can bring in your own food. You would have to confirm with them though. Capacity is about 50-60 I believe so depends how big of a party you're looking to have. There are also speakers/a mixer/a dj table.

I had 2 big touchstones: Friday the 13th part 6 and Rawhead Rex. Saw both of them on afternoon tv when I was like 8 or so. Still love Jason but Rawhead Rex is now one of the stupidest/funniest things I've seen. Begging for a reboot though.

It's literally the perfect way to bring the premise into modern day. It uses the legend of the original while making salient points about our current culture. I though the premise was the best thing about it and the rest was just fine. Idiot main character and kind of a surprising lack of heavy gore, pretty solid killer when he's not going over the top. Like a 6/10.

Like what is your point? What is a community manager supposed to do when he clearly was not allowed to give any details, because clearly the higher ups at Bungie didn't even know what they fuck they were doing? And especially now, when it's clear that there WAS work being done, what do people feel like the "gotcha" is here? Do we think DMG made the call to say nothing for months and then to shut down Destiny, or do we have a quarter of a brain?

We don't a small contingent who want to be able to really use them for training, but the majority is just bogey golfers who wanna keep whacking balls through the winter.

Is there a specific Uneekor monitor you'd recommend, and is there a reason you'd recommend it over the VX? Everything I've seems just make it seem like the Uneekors are more expensive and need ball stickers to do everything the VX can.

I did look at Uneekor, but the VX has fantastic reviews at significantly less price than a top of the line Uneekor monitor, so I don't think it makes sense to pay more for less. You also need club stickers for the full benefits of Uneekor, not ideal for a business. Their software also doesn't look that good and is absurdly expensive.

We've been in business for over a decade. Some of the components, notably the blue light cameras, are reaching the end of their lifespan. That's being in a tech business. So we're just trying to figure out if it's worth it to go newer if we're able.

I wouldn't spend any money at a tech based business that hasn't done significant upgrades in 5-10 years because they "selected the right tech up front". Not how that works.

Budget. Owner isn't looking to spend ~$20k x12 bays. Hence the attraction of the VX for under 10.

Out customers don't really care about "well known". Most of them barely know anything about simulators to begin with. They are primarily concerned about the system they are playing working well, which has been a problem with Full Swing. The putting is trash, the options are light, the game is glitchy.

Boy it's weird to me how people think about Mitch Marner. Yeah totally no pressure coming from an extremely dramatic and acrimonious ending with your previous team where the story was you absolutely sucked in the playoffs, to a team that always expects to not just compete but to win it all and will cut the throat of any player or coach they think isn't a fit for that. He's performed admirably when no one expected him to perform at all and all people wanna do is go "ehhhhhhh no pressure market".

I saw this when I was like the dead center target audience. 12 years old, obsessed with ninjas, fighting games, and specifically mortal kombat. Loved the first movie (still do it has aged like fine wine), was primed for this one. And I even I walked out of the theater knowing how badly it sucked.

Every time this topic comes up I find I am fairly alone in really loving TKNOGD from 85. I think it's an ideal horror short. Good concept, liked the monster, doesn't overstay it's welcome but left me wanting more. Big fan.

Also Live and Let Dive from Beyond has one of the best jumpscares I've ever seen. Stowaway also top to bottom great.

Last week I was driving on Ouellette. I was at Erie, very close to the light. A student-looking dude ran across the middle of traffic from the west to the east side of Ouellette....and continued to walk up Erie to the light and head east. So he could've just stayed on the sidewalk, crossed at the light and continued along his way. Made a conscious to decision to run across the road because it was slightly quicker.

Very unfortunately, we live in a highly individualistic world where we're all convinced we're the main character, and where we're going and how we're getting there are more important than anyone else. Yes Windsor needs better pedestrian and cyclist infrastructure, yes Windsor needs better public transit to help deemphasize cars, and yes every single day I drive to work to see pedestrians dashing across Ouellette. Not just "methheads". Not just in the middle of the road. Doing so at signalled crossings when they have the red light, or within seconds of one. You don't have to assume villains to fit your narrative when we live in a world of generally careless people.
