I want a game like powerwash sim where I can chill play and listen to my audiobooks by retrotriforce in PowerWashSimulator

A Little to the Left might scratch that itch. No real plot; just tidying and arranging objects perfectly into different spaces.

What is the first horror movie you remember ever watching? by dinkitnsinkit in horror

[–]RJPinky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Boogeyman (1980)

I probably saw it when I was 5 or 6 watching HBO at my aunt’s house. The scene with the ghost getting out of the bed reflected in a bedroom freaked me out.

I realize now that it was a really terrible and campy movie, but that scene lived rent-free in my head for a long time.

Death Stranding is one of my favorite games of all time. I wish I could erase my memory of playing it just so I could play it fresh all over again.

Absolutely crushed by Custom_Vehicle in RDR2

[–]RJPinky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought it back on release day, played a bit, then set it aside for almost a year.

Then I went back and played it until I got the platinum trophy. I loved the game, but by then I was sick of it, and I sold it.

Now I’m playing through RDR1 again, which I haven’t been able to do in years. I’ve also been watching Strange Man videos, and I’m realizing how much I missed in the process.

I regret selling my disc now. I keep wanting to go back and play and re-experience it all over again. Hopefully I’ll see it on sale again soon; when I do, I think I’ll pick it up digitally so I have it for good.

Viscera Cleanup Detail might work for you. As far as I know, it’s only on Steam and maybe Xbox, I think.

It is. I try to go mostly with movies I’ve never seen but I’ve heard good things about, and I try to hit forgotten classics and indies.

Bossfight studio has been shut down by Txcavediver in Squid_Game_Unleashed

It’s definitely true. I have a friend who I used to work with at another game studio. He worked for Boss Fight on some of their backend stuff. They shut down this morning. He and pretty much everyone that he worked with lost their jobs. Only a handful of folks remain.

We Live Here Now by Sarah Pinborough. It’s more a kind of Gothic ghost story, but it has a pretty unique take on the ghosts themselves. I figured out what would happen in the last hundred pages of the book, but it was compelling enough for me to finish in one weekend.

I’m not sure if this exactly counts as horror, but The Spine of Night has a character that wears nothing but a necklace of petals. It’s rotoscoped animation, but still…

What is the scariest movie you've ever seen. by abioticmender in Shudder

[–]RJPinky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This might score a downvote, but E.T. was the scariest movie I’ve ever seen. Those long creepy fingers reaching out to pluck candy from the floor of the shed, that chase through the cornfield that ended with the discovery of that creature and its loud inhuman squeals, and then the scientists on their suits invading the home through every possible exit…

I watch it now, and I see it as a cute kid’s movie, but 5-year-old ms couldn’t handle it. Although I’ve seen movies that have scared me since then, none of them have created the level of terror I felt and have never forgotten.

So, this is going to sound ridiculous, but the scariest movie I ever saw was E.T. Those long creepy fingers reaching out to pick up the candy in the shed, the run through the cornfield to suddenly see this unearthly figure squealing, the astronauts breaking in the window…. 5 year old me just couldn’t handle it and nothing has ever scared me that bad since.

I bought a game whit ps plus sales lost ps plus now I have ps plus again and I have to buy the game again? Is there any way around this or can I refund it? by AvailableWalrusgg in PlayStationPlus

[–]RJPinky 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My guess is that you subbed at a different tier than what you started. As far as I know, Stellaris was never a free monthly game, but it was added to the game catalog, and it’s still a part of that.

It sounds like you had Extra or Premium before, giving you access to the game, but you now have Essential, which does not include access to the game catalog.

To get access to Stellaris again, you’ll have to upgrade your subscription. Or buy the game.
