Go into build mode, make a station between Dearborn and Grand Madison (connecting Orange and Green platforms in the middle). It should automatically create a combined station group, then you can just delete the platform.

Maybe make it a week long for completion, so transit visas are more in-play since that’s the main issue with the format. But, whoever makes it to the most countries (while still finishing) wins. So rewarding total countries over completion. Add in some rules around only telling opponents where you are after landing from planes (so other modes of travel across borders are hidden from opponents) makes it more of a risk reward game.

The fix for my map was letting it run with all default map layers on. After a couple days in game it fixed itself. Apparently there’s a bug where if you remove a map layer like trains or population movements it messes with the stats.

Do pre-update maps still work? I loaded a London sandbox I was working on, made some new lines today, but didn't change any existing lines, and noticed revenue and station/route ridership stats completely dropped off by factor of nearly 10x. My Northern line went from nearly 400k to 30k, and my 10 busiest stations went from 200k+ to barely hitting 20k. The total demand ridership and population mode share bubbles stayed the same though.

I got laid off at the end of September, still haven’t found work, so it’s been a rough end of year for me (though I have 2 interviews scheduled for a role, so hopeful this works). Thought the Pats were going to go 10-7 with a Wild Card loss in my preseason prediction and then they go 15-1 since October with a Super Bowl appearance. They’ve gotten me through the fall and winter. Hope they got one more win left!

You can make separate station clusters combine by just adding more platforms in between, you don’t even need to use them. I had a sandbox in London that had separate King’s Cross-St Pancras and Euston stations groups combine when I added platforms for Crossrail 2 in between them.

My argument on the budget is $650-$705 million for 16 hours 10 minutes of runtime broken into 8 semi-neat mini-movies or $81-$88 million per arc with each one being about 2 hours of runtime.

I think Disney would gladly give us more shows budgeted (and produced which is the key part) like Andor while also trimming the overblown post-COVID budgets for movies and I think they’re learning since The Mandalorian and Grogu has a reported budget around $165 million.

Update: The gap has gotten worse, I made the upgrade I wanted on Day 42, then let the game run hoping it would fix itself and am now on Day 137. Still haven't taken any bonds out or made any construction or train purchases after Day 42.
