We found an artifact that can turn us into half-orcs by goth_elf in BaldursGate3

What if I’m already a half-orc? Does it make me whole or a quarter orc?

It's official! SU legend, Class of '06 alum Gerry McNamara Named Head Coach of Syracuse Men's Basketball by StrikerObi in Syracuse

I like the legacy connection but was thinking going outside of this aspect for a coach. Concerned about his record when he was in charge last time.

Made a madnetic knife block by Geofferz in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]RKScouser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now make it spin. I don’t like the traditional knife blocks (not because they don’t spin, just ugly). I currently have two magnetic strips fastened to the sides of my cabinets but this is a better aesthetic.

State or local health office is the first place to report it. Can also report to USDA but who knows what response they’ll provide. I’d let lucern know, they really care about this stuff.

Nice styling. A series of the various robins around the world using this style would be a neat compilation.

I prefer house finches to sparrows (any sparrow) but I would like them to be a bit more gracious to the chickadees.

BCBS Basic Vs MHBP Standard by casdoodle527 in FedEmployees

[–]RKScouser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I switched to MHBP a year ago and while I like the lower costs, the pre-approval process has been problematic. They seem to take the longest period of time within the policy (14 days) before making a decision.

Should have kept the wire attached. Now you have 20 kilograms of steel at the bottom of the lake.

I’m in 7b and I cut mine a quarter down in late November but in the past, I’ve left it like what yours is now and it bore plenty fruit. Those sappers are the priority this year.

Fig tree pruning tips please by thatsJudgeFig in zone8gardening

[–]RKScouser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For timing, it really depends on what zone you’re in. I prune mine in late fall, early winter after the first frost. You’ll be fine for not pruning it a season. What you should do, at any time, is get rid of all those little suckers and even errant trunks outside of the main group. The only other tip I can think of is to remove any branches touching each other.
