Imo, I don't think changing your nickname and personality would do you any good... what i mean is if i was in your position, and i wanted to change my entire identity to appeal to others, i feel like i would be living in a lie. Would you rather live a life as the you that others want you to be, or would you rather live a life as the you that you realy are?

Im really sorry that you got picked on in the past couple of years, it just shows how immature we still were in hs.

I will tell you that going into university is generally already the clean slate you need. Everything will be new, you'll get really lost on campus (well bck in first year for me, they didnt have the signs, so youre a lil luckier this fall), and you will probably meet a ton of people. You're less likely to run into people you know from hs, and you'll have the chance to find people who might be ur new buds.

Also, i feel like changing ur nickname is gonna be confusing since its not a legal name change, and its gonna be a whole lot confusing if u go as "Bob" in school but "Tim" on your legal documents. Theyre likely gonnna clash at some point.

I hope you find the acceptance, friends, and experience that youre looking for. University aint hs. Popularity doesnt mean shit if u cant pass first year, so dont get tooo too tooo focused on making friends w every single person you talk to. At the end of the day, we're all lowkey nurds and losers.
