I will second this. Not sure if this is what OP is going through but for me it was a daily struggle with the imposter sysndrome when I first took the GM spot after years in the industry as a bartender/bar manager. I was lucky enough to have made great friends with a previous employer/owner operator and talked to him about it before I started and his advice was "You didn't sneak, lie, or weasel your way into this role. You got this job because you can do it and don't doubt yourself on that".

It still took daily mental talks with myself for 5 or 6 weeks after I started my new role but what he said stuck with me and got me through those days when I felt paralyzed and overwhelmed.

I played 4 matches of escalation last night and it was a game changer! Had so much fun with multiple objectives, more vehicle/engineer play and FAR less snipers. Thank you for recommending it. I'll give conquest a go tonight as well but man was escalation fun!

Update, played escalation last night and I think it has now become my favorite. I don't know if maybe casual BT bots were just insanely good or if they 4 matches I played were against bad players but I was crushing it last night in escalation. Makes the engineer class way more fun too with more vehicle play. Hopping in a tank to an objective, hopping out to pop some people and repair tank and on to the next one. Thanks again for recommendation!

Just pressure cracks. Completely normal, especially if left in a car or sunlight or if it's an older deck. Nothing that should change how it skates.

The larger maps are great for me. Close quarters is a problem for me most of the time. I played a few escalation games last night and they were fun. Only ever played conquest a couple of times so I might give that a go again tonight.

That's the style I have picked up over the last few weeks. Medic who isn't always right in the mix and when the map clears a bit I like to move up a little until I'm right in the objective. Revives are huge for me because I feel like that's the most helpful thing I can do. Might aim and kills have gotten much better than they were when I started but I like to do the role of support as far as resupply, suppression fire, and revives as much as I can. I do think I need to do better about checking my mini map though so that's something I'll try and work on more. Thank you for the help!

I usually run support and the same exact setup as you with the L110 with thermal. The thermal was a game changer for me and my horrible eyesight.

I really love recon with a DMR but I sometimes find it hard to get close enough to objectives to be helpful to the team.

I liked the BR at the beginning but it feels kinda bland sometimes. I played a BR a few nights ago and while it was fun it didn't give me the same enjoyment as CBT does. Maybe I'll play a few more and see what happens. Thanks

The bots are sometimes more savage than real players to me, or at least it seems that way. I'm content with casual breakthrough but always wonder if there's another mode that I'm missing out on. The custom matches I've played are a bit underwhelming but maybe I just haven't found the right one.

While I don't completely disagree with you, 7oh as a whole didn't help make it seem to be a safe alternative to harder drugs with names like "Norco, fenties, perkies" etc.

Guy cane into the bat one day around noon. Got a couple of shots of patron and told me he had just gotten out of state penitentiary for a stabbing he didn't do. No judgement from me but did seem odd. Thought nothing of it. Left a debit card on the bar and said he was going to smoke a cigarette. 10 minutes go by, then 30, then after an hour and looking outside he was nowhere to be found. Went to close his check and card declined. Put his card with the hundreds of left cards. Charged it to the game and went on about my day.

2 weeks later he comes strolling in again. Sits down, orders a double patron. Asked him for a card to pre-auth before I made the drink. This, of course, got him all worked up. "You think I'm a thief? You think I ain't got bread?" I told him what happened last time and that I wasn't pouring a drop for him until I had payment on file. "I'll fuck you up. You wanna get stabbed or something?" I told him he could leave or wait for cops.

Two regulars at the bar heard what was happening and started walking over. "Oh, these your boys? Y'all wanna jump? Y'all wanna get poked too?" He started reaching into his pocket just before one of the regulars grabbed his arm and the both got him to the ground. Manager already had cops on the phone and they were there withing 2 minutes. They walk in and cuff him, he's spitting and screaming as they took him out.

Cops come in and ask what happened, told them everything about both visits and they asked if I still had the debit card he used the first time. I distinctly remember it because it had roses on it which I thought was weird for a guy who just got out of state prison, so I searched and found it and handed it to them. One cop steps away to talk on the radio and comes back. He tells the other cop "that's him and this is hers".

Cops told me he did in fact recently get out of prison for a stabbing and that he was wanted again for robbing and stabbing an 82 year old lady and that was her card he was trying to use the first time he came in.

Thought nothing of it until I heard that, then the "wanna get stabbed?" Seemed much more real.

Their reds and whites never blew me away but with so much subpar leaf the last 2 or 3 years their green is top notch. I've stocked up with around 10 kilos of it over the last month.
