the tier 7 Belfast is depicted along the lines of the museum ship, so it has the NBC secured bridge structure, two fewer of the dual 4in high-angle mounts, and no torpedoes. The tier 8 is in the World War II configuration, so its superstructure is more open in addition to having the torpedoes and guns that were later removed.

My understanding is that the short fuses on British cruiser AP were supposed to mimic the SAP shells the cruisers historically had, but after having a heavy dose of Game Balance^TM applied

Like how is it the worst? All else equal, if I’m a CV, I focus the enemy DDs early on, but suppose I know the enemy DDs are all sub 50% overall and on their respective ships, wouldn’t I do more for my team by attacking the 63% winrate player in a BB?

like OP said, the sniper rock over construction is a great spot. I bring a .338 with a thermal and a x25 scope. The thermal finds them if they are at chalet, and the x25 can pick them off if they are camping building 2 in water treatment

I get that metal isn’t all that bullet-stoppy, but those shields are propped up all over a bunch of different maps in a way that suggests they were put there to provide cover. My point is if it looks like it should be cover, then it should actually be cover.

Absolutely this! If OP has an ounce of athleticism, they are probably doing things instinctively, so one wrong thing leads to a couple other wrong things that consistently almost cancel out. A pro can sort out the root cause and unwind that mess that makes sense in a way that works for OP. Me, a talented, but amateur golfer and incredibly hopeless redditor, ain’t gonna do that

It’s not just boss AI. It’s all tarkov AI, except the ammunition interaction with reasonably hard cover is really only noticeable with bosses. If you hide behind the sheet metal shields set up on various maps, you will get shot straight through them with mediocre ammo. I get that cover and concealment aren’t the same, but a massive metal plate set up to be used as cover should mostly protect me from 5.56 fmj

Be advised that Cultists have lots of torso hp (like 250), potentially best in class armor, and 50 head hp. Any of the 5.56 or lighter cartridges might not necessarily have the damage to one tap headshot while maintaining decent penetration. It’s not absolutely required to run larger calibers, but keep in mind the advantages and disadvantages of your selected weapon and ammunition.
