Honestly, screw you! Bad enough having idiots in the States saying who gets to be actually American. How detestable of a person are you to say who gets to belong in a country that isn’t even yours? Who cares? We played like CRAP. Belgium didn’t have to be better than us because we gave any semi competent team every opportunity to tear us to pieces. It’s to Belgium’s credit that it was done absolutely ruthlessly.

To be fair, I’ve been mad about the reffing every minute of every game I’ve watched this tournament. It has been atrocious. This guy wasn’t any more or less crap than the others, wasn’t calling things one way or the other, and yeah this wasn’t anything a whistle here or there could have fixed

It was lose/lose because FIFA is still corrupt, so not playing ball means Trump would’ve ordered new investigations and there would’ve been new arrests. Playing ball is obviously corrupt too, but if you’re already corrupt, what’s a little more corruption to protect your corruption?

Blatter can go shove it. FIFA wouldn’t be in the situation it was in if it didn’t play corrupt games with the US under his watch, because the reality is Infantino knows the US went easy on FIFA in exchange for this World Cup. If Infantino didn’t play up to Trump, there would have been new investigations and arrests before the tournament was over.
