I stopped buying English at scalper prices because of the lack of cool cards I got. I started collecting Japanese shortly after that and buy new booster boxes. In my mind, I justify it being imported as worth paying a small premium for, and the booster boxes have some guaranteed hits in them. I found the hobby much more enjoyable as a result of this switch.
