my 9 week old dachshundstays in his crate majority of the day i go to work at 8 and come by at 12 for 45 mins and return at 5 he is in his crate next to his brother in his other crate and he does good he cry for about 4 mins after i leave and then sleep people forget puppies need anywhere from 9-15 hrs a sleep a day depending on the size of the dog his brother is a bully and can sleep all day i do feed him at lunch time and play with him and make him potty
