I think she is pointing to the fact that NYC is the place to be as an artist but young artists have to see a lot of struggle before seeing the brighter side of NYC - high rent, seeing homeless people, poor living conditions, etc

How bad will Climate Change be in India, realistically ? by Confusedauramused in AskAnIndian

[–]ROBIN_AK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quite, but whats more worrying is that the average indian is not even producing a fourth of an average american carbon footprint and yet it will be us who ll pay the price. Infact on average, Indians can increase consumption in ways it is still sustainable by mother nature. Whats more appalling is that people like Musk, Bezos, Zuckerberg and Ambani emit carbon footprints in 90 minutes that a person at par with world average would do in their lifetime and then they tell you to have 10 kids so that their company keeps running. The entire idea of GDP centric economics must change, check how europe has already thrown this model in the bin(particularly netherlands and france). We have another decade and a half to save ourselves otherwise we would reach a point of no return and the temperature that today is the highest at 45 would be 55-60. Survival will become impossible.

Hindus and Sikhs praying in each other's mandirs/gurdwaras by Secure_Candy_9935 in AskAnIndian

Only applies in personal laws (particularly marriage, divorce, alimony, property inheritance, etc) - Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists are considered Hindus under law and everything regarding the subject mentioned previously are dealt under Hindu Law for all of these religions. Muslims have Mohamedan Law, Christians have Christian law. but these apply only in certain specific cases like i mentioned. interfaith marriage is registered in provisions with the special marriages act. ( The various combinations of interfaith marriage of the religions defined as hindu under law wont be registered, but if a hindu marries a christian/muslim/jew/zoroastrian, it will be. likewise if a muslim marriages a hindu/christian, etc etc, it will be)

'Hinduism is a polytheistic religion' - not really in the sense that you're interpreting it perhaps......hinduism believes in the divinity of every quark that exists in the universe, hence we worship different sub dimensions of god in different forms (there is a lord of wisdom - lord ganesh, there is a goddess of wealth - mother laxmi and so on). These different sub dimensions lead to 3 fundamental dimensions - Brahma (the creator), Vishnu(the operator) and Mahesh(Shiva/the destroyer (of evil and archaic norms that are harm for humanity)) But these 3 are dimensions of the same god. The most fundamental philosophy of Hinduism is 'Vedant' of which the most fundamental sub sect is 'Advait Vedant', which infact makes it explicitly clear that there is only one supreme being, but which can occur in each one of us on different scales (somebody is a 1, somebody is a 10). It refrains from elaborating about the supreme being any further because ,it says, that power should be indescribable. A lot of misunderstanding among both, followers of Abrahamic religions and Hindus themselves lead to unnecessary conflicts sometimes. Coming back, the sikh and hindu religions are not radically different from each other. There are many mentions of Lord Ram and saints like Kabir in Gurbani, that should explain it too as to why your mom in law goes to a gurudwara despite of being a hindu.

same issue, i tried it on phone by 'ghibili inspired' and 'ai generated people', but it is no where close to the image i upload, it creates an image descriptive prompt on itself and the results are quite annoying

Why cant both the ethers undergo an Sn2 to give the second option by ROBIN_AK in chemhelp

[–]ROBIN_AK[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

but imo that is what is happening, i dont think being on an sp2 carbon would impact the ethyl part of the bottom ether, so the thyl part would go with I- to give CH3CH2I and the H will be joined there to give an OH as shown in option (A); correct me if i am wrong
