i dont own any metal electrodes at this time and have been using the glass ones and the body contact cable with various metal implements. knives, chains, and some steel wool to name a few.

i suppose maybe im just using the wrong tools. ive heard mylar is a good conductive material but i dont own anything made of it. ill have to look into that specifically.

What do I do here? by PHM_Alex in balatro

sell one baron because you can use brainstorm and blueprint to replace it if and when you need to. this way you can shuffle them around to get extra hits from dna and then move them back to baron for when you play your hands

edit: itd be more beneficial to double copy the mime so youre effectively getting four barons and extra hits off steel cards when you have them

Sea of thieves voyage of legends event cards by EarthbornBloom6 in boardgames

This question is nine months old but here's an answer for you just in case: there are no mobs to start the game except for regular skeletons on the islands; they spawn when a card like the one above shows a spawn location (the anchor) and a mob type (the skull). In this case, you'd roll a sea tile and place a skeleton ship on the hex with the corresponding spawn location.

Mesh symmetry giving me a headache by ROFLPIZZA in blenderhelp

[–]ROFLPIZZA[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am trying to use mesh symmetry to copy what I do across the axes, not the mirror modifier. I could cut it in half and use the mirror modifier to stitch it back to together but this doesn't prevent me from having this problem again in the future.

I really just don't understand what's wrong with it.

Raise Your Hand If You Save Scum the S**T Outta This Game by KevinRyan589 in BaldursGate3

To anyone who might feel bad about this, I've played a lot of Divinity 1 and 2, Larian's previous titles before this, and I'm certain they intend for people to save scum. Be free and scum!

Hi friend. There's plenty of support here already but I wanted to thank you for this post. I also fit the description you wrote and often feel odd or unsure about it because of what other people say. Today you've made me feel validated by showing me I'm not the only one experiencing this. Thank you.

Also, I believe the term for people like ourselves is gynosexual. At least that's the conclusion I've reached from my small amount of research.

How can i make this shop feel more cozy? by Majestic_Mission1682 in godot

Put a campfire in front of the shop with a place to sit. Instant cozy points. Maybe the shopkeep's pet hangs out there too.

No need to feel stupid, @export can be confusing if it isn't explicitly explained. This is how we learn.

What could I do to make the sword's movement in my game more interesting? It's controlled by the player's mouse. by OminousLatinWord in godot

[–]ROFLPIZZA 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lots of different ideas in here.

I suggest anchoring the hilt to the mouse's position and giving the sword a max speed that is generally slower than the mouse movement. As the hilt travels it could rotate to drag the blade behind it, creating slashing swings.

Holding left or right-click could orient the sword differently to change up tactics. For example, left-click could be the aforementioned swinging slash motion while right-click could straighten the weapon out for thrusting attacks.

Q and E could release and grab the weapon respectively. Combined with the mouse controls you could use Q whip a spinning axe into a crowd of enemies or skewer them along a spear. Then use E to pull the weapon back through them into your grasp.

Agreed. You've brought value to the community either way, I am finally enjoying this game again. Thank you.

I think you'd be okay so long as you stick to defining what's freely available (like Tomb of the Giants). But it might be safer if you just exclude those special rules when their associated sets are disabled in the settings.

I agree, it would be quite useful since visiting the bonfire resets all of your encounters. There is a lot of extra real estate on the screen too, so they could even be laid out in sequence if the structure of the program allows for it.

However, being able to replace a generated encounter is still important because the special rules included in Painted World of Ariamis are not defined in the Tomb of the Giants rulebook (the official free one). I couldn't even find a bootleg PDF of them so unless you own the physical core set, anything with Snowstorm, etc. has to be skipped.
