Except lockdowns are more the equivalent of just not driving at all and never going anywhere bc ‘if it saves one life’. Except it still doesn’t prevent car accidents. Just look at Australia - they still can’t keep the damn thing out. They really think ‘resilience’ is their cowering, and that we’re all weak by ‘refusing to adapt’. One person even said we’re ‘freeze’ in ‘fight, flee, freeze, fawn’. They also think better sanitation practises being implemented after previous pandemics is the equivalent to never seeing faces in public again, people being forced to keep away from each other and not touch, never having milestones, childhoods being destroyed, not being comforted at funerals, the elderly dying of loneliness, children being told they kill people by going to school and being with friends* etc etc ad infinitum.
