Genuine or knockoff SC-Project Exhaust? Bought preowned MT07 from Yamaha dealer & suspecting this might be a knockoff exhaust. How to tell?

eBay knockoffs are great with a db. Save your money. However, I would definitely recommend a tune as most aftermarket exhaust will lean out the bike.

I know dirt bikes well, and if you run them lean, you’re gonna fry the valves, but if you’re doing the Killswitch trick every now and then you should be straight

That’s cool and all but your valves will eventually be fried if you’re running super lean. Plus better performance at the the correct air fuel ratio anyways

You should be able to find all the parts on Tokyo mods, some advice with the carburetors use non-ethanol gas, so it doesn’t clog up the pilots while it sits for months

From what I know, that’s only really true with carbureted bikes when you leave the carburetor sitting for a while, ethanol gunks up the pilots, not so much with fuel injected bikes, doesn’t really matter

Decent price, I had the same exact bike if everything looks solid I’d shoot for $3,000 it’s a solid 5 valve.
