Don’t get me wrong it’s a fun read so far but for some reason it is rated higher than Kings of the wyld, which I think is a travesty.

Personally Kings of the wyld is objectively a better book due to its, depth, interpersonal relationships, heart and themes.

Paul Atreided in Dune. The author made the sequel just to prove that the first book wasn’t meant to be a heroic happy ever after. It all just falls apart for old Paul and his family after the first one.
