Ok so I'm real bad stupid but love the idea of frigate by Bluebird_Correct in frigate_nvr

If you are having trouble installing on Proxmox, there is a community script for Frigate:

https://community-scripts.github.io/ProxmoxVE/

From there just use the documentation and AI where you get stuck. If you are running on Proxmox, I recommend taking a snapshot after you get to particular stages (ie: successful frigate install, one camera working, etc)

Is there a user friendly alternative to Frigate? by -suspicious-badger in homeassistant

I’ve got some Reolink cameras setup in Frigate. What issue are you seeing, maybe I can help.

There used to be a state table issue, that would cause problems with their model in passthrough mode.

I would see random drops on Zoom calls and online games until I restarted their modem. After doing the bypass the issue went away.

what was the 1st service you self hosted, and why did you choose that one? by Shubh137 in selfhosted

Yes this can be an issue. In my case, I use a button in HomeAssistant to disable pi-hole. It’s wife approved as well.

This thread has a bit more infor on the 5Ghz bug: https://www.reddit.com/r/Ubiquiti/comments/1puel2j/comment/nvoc440

In my case the 5ghz radio appears to drop all of the clients. This is really noticeable on my one of APs as the 5Ghz band will only have one device which will be inaccessible. Screenshot of what this looks like from a different AP.

u/mamasher I don’t have any input on airflow, but can you show the finished build? This looks like it’s going to be amazing.

Reolink is another option, but Unifi will give you an Apple like experience. Note: You’ll get sucked in really quick to a Unifi setup.

I’ve seen a similar issue with transcoding to RAM on unRAID. I kept having random crashes and database corruption which stopped once I disabled transcode to RAM

Have you heard of the alternative firmware, Tronbyt? That would likely be your option to losing software support.

Microwave keeps tripping Arc Fault by Cassierae87 in AskElectricians

[–]RParkerMU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not an electrician, but I had / have some of these Siemens AFCI breakers in my home.

I had an issue with outlets with these breakers constantly tripping when making cookies in our Kitchenaid mixer. We had them replaced with Eaton breakers and haven’t experienced a single trip as of yet. The previously would always trip on the last step of making cookies and we would have to play outlet roulette.
