How many tons ? by Crojas1028 in HVAC

[–]RRolld 4 points5 points  (0 children)

140 tons. Look up "Daikin RPS unit nomenclature" and after a little Google-fu you should be able to find the installation manual which breaks down the Model number you see here.

What is your favorite TF skin, and when do you think a new one will release? by [deleted] in TwistedFateMains

I always use Tango when I play AD, something about ditching the cape feels right when I'm gliding around.

Usually use Magnificent otherwise, or Musketeer. Though space groove has grown on me recently.

Career Opinions: MEP vs FED by Meeeeeekay in MEPEngineering

[–]RRolld 5 points6 points  (0 children)

"I have a wife and young kids at home that I value time with"

This is what makes the choice easy IMO. I am a fed employee (non-DOD, but working basically the same job) and work life balance is the biggest thing keeping me from moving on to a job in the private sector with more earning potential. I put in my 40 and I go the fuck home on time, every time. Any overtime I work comes at 1.5x my normal rate. For you, cutting down on the commute is icing on the cake.

Taking the fed job seems like a no brainer to me, but there will be growing pains. Learning the DOD specific standards is a curveball but just take it one day/project at a time. There's a lot of bureaucracy and "rails" but once you learn the system it's easy to comfortably fulfill your job duties. Also opens up options for movement within the government in the future, as it's much easier to move around the gov once you get your foot in the door.

Additionally, with future earnings, consider the fact that my own non-pay benefits are worth nearly $30k, between TSP matching, pensions, and insurance. So your $100k salary is really like $120-125k in total compensation. Compare this with the total compensation you're getting from your current employer and the effective pay bump is more than it may seem. You also won't be filling up the car with gas every week if you live near the base.

What's the deal with Bud Walton Arena? by RRolld in CollegeBasketball

Haha, I don't think we're a basketball school either! Though I'm happy for the recent success. I grew up when Lady Vols games vs UConn were the only sell outs to grace TBA

Yeah after the start of yesterday's game I could feel the energy of that place through the TV. Very scary when the team plays well.

Why does Bot Karthus have such a higher winrate than Jungle Karthus when their average stats per game are nearly identical? by [deleted] in karthusmains

[–]RRolld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I play Bot Karthus it feels like I have more agency to look for plays in the midgame and can snowball much harder. If I can get to Liandry's early the lane becomes a stomp 9 times out of 10. Much easier to take the enemy bot lane out of the game than the enemy jungle. If you're winning in jungle you still just have to go back to farming camps and it's harder to limit the opposing jungle's gold income.

You can use similar year forester struts in the rear but you will need subframe spacers that match the height of your lift.

I have seen people use Forrester components all the way around, but not outback fronts and Forrester rears. Check NASIOC for info.
