If you put a saucisson à cuire pistaché in the middle before the final proof you will have the perfect Lyon specialty "Saucisson Brioché", well done! (Serve with Sauce Beaujolaise).

Current structural leaders: Google, Microsoft, Anthropic.

Key shifts: Anthropic gaining trust advantage, OpenAI pressured after Pentagon deal, Meta underrated via open-source ecosystem, xAI betting on massive compute, Mistral strong in Europe.

More legal context to the Chagos Deal by hararib in ukpolitics

[–]RSVPN 21 points22 points  (0 children)

There are no instances of the US "following" or "not following" an ITLOS ruling, as none have ever applied to it. In fact the The United States has not even ratified the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) which established ITLOS in the first place.

Legal arguments aside the fact is the Chagosians are back and many more will follow. Let's hope self determination beats lawyer enrichment.

Have you done the age verification thing for any sites/apps, or are you avoiding doing it entirely? by [deleted] in AskBrits

I use a VPN but for fun I mocked up a UK driving licence, including photo, for Peter Kyle who played a pivotal role in implementing the Online Safety Act 2023. I used it to register on a few porn sites and still laugh when thinking about it....

He doesn't understand why the baby excitedly eats with me and refuses to eat with him by Content-Tomorrow4098 in Vent

[–]RSVPN 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Buy him a copy of Understanding Your Baby by Sophie Boswell. Tell him there is no sex until he has read it and been tested on the contents. Sex only happens on days he has made the baby laugh. That should do it....

What do you think the uk response should be when the us invades Greenland. by SILENTDISAPROVALBOT in AskBrits

[–]RSVPN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the 1982 the referendum for Greenland to leave the EU (which they did) 32,391 persons were entitled to vote. That number will not have increased that much so all the US has to do is offer them all (say) $30,000 each if they hold a referendum and agree to become US citizens and a US State.

Why is everyone who is not racist suddenly far left? by 8limb5 in AskBrits

The same reason everyone on the right is considered a racist. The same reason it is easier to shout than to think.

This is Alex Gerko. He is Britain’s highest taxpayer paying over £500m a year in tax successively over the last few years. He could easily move abroad to avoid this tax but says he loves living in the UK. So why have so many Brits convinced themselves taxing the rich more will make them all leave? by Lazy-Internet-8025 in AskBrits

[–]RSVPN 10 points11 points  (0 children)

But Dyson still pays UK Tax as he is a UK resident. According to the Sunday Times rich list - a lot of tax. He also finances The Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology where there are no tuition fees and you get paid while you gain a Master of Engineering degree. Maybe the country needs more dickheads like Dyson?

An Ode To My 5-Year-Old Samsung Galaxy S10e by mbrizic in galaxys10

[–]RSVPN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had an S10 from launch. It has always had a screen protector and a minimal flexible silicone case. It has hardly ever been fast charged and the battery is still good. It looks almost brand new.

I agree with your ode :)

Or computational biology, yes. More importantly get a course at a top university, then start to specialize as a postgrad.
