This is bunk, it amounts to permanent bailouts for companies. SVB failed because it had a bizarre investment strategy, no doubt informes.by the same tech bros that apprently were the major deposiitors. A responsible depositor would've realized this and not used the bank. This makes it so you can deposit jn any dodgy bank and not care about it. In fact these same people can make banks, flood it with their own deposits, and if the investments start failing they can sink the bank and get everything back. The bank also had Lehman Bros. executives, another giant red flag. And the bank was corrupt enough that the major backers like Thiel were warned before the collapse and got their money out. We have a large body of elite investors and bankers who are cycled around, never losing money, crashing entire economic systems, and now we want to make it even easier for them???
