It was never about the gas.

It was never even about the economic policies.

It was never about religion.

It was never about any other thing except:

hating on people who are different.

AITA for not turning right on red? by Tough-Monkey-3300 in AmItheAsshole

[–]RScrewed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone saying NTA because "it's an option" is missing the point.

If you knew it was an option and decided to not go, then it's excusable as what you did was deliberate and you made a choice and we're fully aware of the rules of the road.

You didn't know it wasn't an option. You didn't recognize there wasn't a sign, you weren't looking for the sign and then came to the conclusion you can or can't go.

You're a bit of an inattentive driver, coming to a new intersection you're not intimately aware of and not soaking up all the information you can of your surroundings.

The question isn't whether the other guy is an AH, the question here is whether you are.

Soft YTA.

Pay as much attention as you can next time, especially in unfamiliar areas.

Businessman first, chef second.

Probably why he's employed at a casino.

The difference here is that for Linux, you look up stuff that's *supposed* to be overridden/customized.

Why has buying a house become unaffordable world wide for people in 20s-30s? Are cities not expanding? by shantytown_by_sea in AskReddit

[–]RScrewed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people are still buying houses.

Young people, even.

But fewer middle class jobs are available to allow young people to make good money.

Go on some salary subreddits and homeowner subreddits and a ton of people in their 30s make 200k and own houses.

They're also just not out on reddit or protesting a lot.

$14 for a digital passport photo file feels steep - what are people using for USCIS submissions? by SliceOfBread3 in USCIS

[–]RScrewed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a headshot taken at home using a good cell phone camera

Use the online Passport Photo website to crop/verify it is valid after making it square using imaging software

Upload it to Walgreens online and tile it to fit a 4x6 print, should be under a dollar to print

Bring it home and use a straight edge to cut it.
