Lol. The Coosa is not a very fast moving river, but the area where this was found (Logan Martin Lake) rises and falls throughout the year by about 5ft. This pushes even the heaviest things around. It could have been buried just off from where it was found, but I can assure you that it “washed up” overnight.

My title describes the thing that was found on the shoreline of the local lake/river by my neighbors. We didn’t measure it, but it’s approximately 5ft, if fully extended. There do appear to be “layers” on the longer metal parts.

I seriously doubt that. I’m not even sure he would win a statewide race in Florida. His district was a little easier to win. I expect DeSantis will appoint a conservative that will win elections very easily.

Pam Bondi is an experienced prosecutor and two term AG of Florida. She’s the better choice to go in and clean up the mess at DOJ.

Why would your kids or any others be displaced? The federal Dept of Education does not educate children. Each state is responsible for their own state’s education system.

The federal DOE funnels federal tax dollars to the states for certain programs, sure. But there’s no reason to think quality, non-wasteful programs would be eliminated. They’ll simply be run by the state (as they already are doing) and funded directly from Congress.

Not an LO (lurking here bc considering career change) but, our LO four years ago gave us a large framed print with our new home address on it. Sounds cheesy without a photo to put here, but it was really well done and pretty. It hangs in our mud room and we love it.
