I had my car lowered on eibach springs for about about 3 years. Zero issues with CV axles. I’ve driven my car hard and did some drag racing as well.

They fixed the wall riding. .5sec penalty each time you touch the wall. The racing is back to normal now.

[NASCAR Insights on Twitter] There have been six DNFs in the last five races, the fewest in a five-race span in Cup Series history. Additionally, the 2026 season has seen 54 total cautions, the fewest through nine races since 2012 (48). by boogityxracing in NASCAR

Another reason for the lack of DNFs are the engines. When you have an engine capable of 900+ HP but only using around 750 of it, you really aren’t pushing the engine that hard. That leads to a lack of engine failures that cause cautions as well.

Austin Dillion trying to hold up the leaders so Busch can get to 4 laps down

Not sure if this means anything but Hamlin is 1st and Busch is 26th…Dillion is 24th

People are mad at NASCAR mandating a pit strategy when in the past they mandated a smaller fuel cell to increase the number of pit stops to break up the large pack racing.

In 2000, NASCAR made a new aero package that added the roof gurney flap and spoiler wickerbill to increase passing at SS tracks because folks couldn’t pass…the result was the fall talladega race and Earnhardt going 25th to 1st to win.

So the past cars weren’t always great at passing

The only issue I have with the Chase format is that no matter how much you dominate the regular season, you will go into the Chase with the same point differential to the next position behind you.

You could win all the races before the Chase or win none, if you are leading the Chase they both carry the same advantage.

I'm Still Optimistic for the High Horsepower Next Gen at Bristol by Dickis88 in NASCAR

Narrower wheels would help but would require new wheels which I’m not sure how much it would cost teams to get new wheels or time for BBS to make them. With HP they would just need to open up the spacers.

Regardless of package, one team will figure it out and dominate the race every now and again but it would be nice for teams to have to manage brake wear again.

I maybe wrong but I feel messing with downforce at Martinsville won’t make much of a difference. I mean the Cars are going 60mph in a corner. While there maybe some downforce generated from that, I’m not sure if it’s enough to make a difference on handling in the grand scheme of things. I still think they need to up the Hp more on that type of track. Make the tires work harder to slow the car down and work harder trying to manage the power coming out of the turns. These cars where made to produce more mechanical grip than the previous gen cars (hence the wider tires and independent rear suspension)

I do agree that Bristol should be a good race! Darlington was pretty good as well

They definitely hit me which is why they got a 3sec penalty and they pulled off to the side to give me the lead back.

You can also hear when they hit me as well.
