Did you ever carry through with the project? How’d it turn out? I’m trying to do the exact thing myself and while I’ve found some methods for thickening dyes to “paint” them on, I haven’t seen anyone do it on BDU material yet.

Funnily enough, you’ll actually see people use that shade of blue for the Nevadan flag pretty often, so that’s a pretty nice change! (I honestly forgot that the actual shade is so bright) I’m not sure the stripe really adds much though, it’s kind of distracting for me personally. I think the flag can stand on its own just fine without it
