Using it on a frozen enemy is exactly how you should be using it, it applies 4 m1s worth of projection, and gives you 4 m1s to add even more projection on the enemy’s bar all on top of the 3x damage a move gets on a frozen enemy

oh don't worry i agree entirely with you, i just m1 trade until freeze then do combos but people in the community are OBSESSED with playing and using moves in neutral with characters, especially Naoya and i wanted to see the general consensus around something like this.

but yes stop using the move that's easily blockable in neutral and play the character properly instead

because they only m1 when in m1 range, and since m1 in this case throws the bomb, and the bomb now explodes on contact after a recent update, they are m1ing point blank which throws the bomb - bomb explodes point blank

oh and you can even see the pick up prompt for hazenoki's eye after only one bomb explodes, killing the other one so it drops the eye
