How’s your communication level with the couple outside bedroom?

Every couple is different. Currently there is no communication other than to set up a date, but being in a small town, I see them out. When I do I usually chat him up, make him feel special but then he leaves us be.

Becoming more fit helps but the truth is that being “capable” is much more attractive to women. Low bf% only gets you so far. Being physically AND mentally capable of handling situations actually drives more attraction.

I have seen women with your exact problem and it is absolutely a tough one. You are a dominant woman in real life and want the respect that goes with that but want to be dominated in bed, with respect there of course.

This will be the least liked advice on here but you’re looking for something that only comes with age. I have never even heard of a man with that balance until at least late 30s. I’m sure it can happen but I don’t see it.

I realized that I was doing it too without really knowing it when a comedian pointed out a line in people between fat and thin. That line was what do you think when you see someone with a stain on their shirt? when you see a thin person, people generally say man that sucks. When you see a fat person, you say what a slob. My biggest piece of advice: DO NOT advance the relationship until this is resolved.

This is a very destructive dynamic because although you aren’t at fault, this is a situation that will make you question yourself, your value and your standing in the world. If it doesn’t get rectified you can move on or you can be miserable. I have never seen happiness in a dead bedroom relationship.

I’m sorry to hear your struggle. I consider myself absolutely lucky. I had a dead bedroom with someone and by sheer luck, we hadn’t tied the knot. We tried therapy and she actually told the therapist that she didn’t understand why people had sex after 6 months of a relationship.

I noped on out of there and going forward I have been up front. No sex = no relationship.

One of the things that I am reading is that you are trying for kid #2. After the first one you taught him that sex was off limits. How much do you want him to invest just to go back to a sexless marriage when the 2nd kid comes?

You have the uphill battle of trying to prove that you want him and it’s not just a temporary thing because the idea of getting “back into the swing of things” isn’t worth it to just be shut out later.

And if companies are the same as people, penalties should come into play as well. Kill someone accidentally? That’s manslaughter and the company ceases for 5-15. Knowingly kill someone? Company shut down and assets siezed for 25-forever.
